Samantha- Oh wow...I never would've that you...and him

Joseph- I get it a lot but he's cool

Joseph- So anyways are we still hanging out at the park later?

Samantha looks frightened because she hid that friend from Stephanie she looks back at Stephanie with some type of look on her face

She turns back and awkwardly looks at him

Samantha- Oh it depends...I'm not feeling good right now but I'll text you ?

Joseph- Sounds good I guess

He smiles and walks into Starbucks and they drive away

~Stephanie POV~
So...JX...is Joseph? but why would she hide that?

I shrugged it off for now as I know that confronting her would be tiring

Samantha- We better head soon these cramps are already killing me...

They get to the house and Samantha runs up stairs Stephanie sees max with her baby in his arms and she couldn't help but think "damn
why does max looks so daddy material" it's too bad they can't have kids

Max- Hey I just put her asleep .. do you wanna put her upstairs I bought a crib

Stephanie- A- a crib? you didn't have too

Max- I wanted to... besides what if she rolls off the bed

I chuckled "I don't think so I sleep very close to her"

Max- Yea well...I remember sleeping with my baby cousin 5 months old in bed I was 7 and she fell off... because I was moving

Stephanie- Haha what? is she ok

Max- Tea she turned out fine if that's what you mean "he smiled"

Max then gives the baby to her slowly and gently and Stephanie rocks her back n fourth smiling at her little creation. Max wanted Stephanie to have her moment and begins walking away and Stephanie stops him

Stephanie- Hey...uh I need to talk to you...
She said as she looked into his blue eyes

Max- Yea...ok
He walked off to the living room in confusion

Stephanie goes up stairs and goes into her room to see a white crib with a pink sheet with unicorns on it she thought it was cute and so thoughtful that max had bought her and *her baby's name* a crib she set her down and quietly exited the room heading down stairs to tell max the situation from earlier

Stephanie- Hey...don't get mad at me but...

Max- But...what? 🤨

Stephanie sat down next to max on the couch "Well...I asked Samantha if she wanted to..get married and..."

"Spit it out Stephanie" he said in frustration and annoyance

Stephanie was scared "Well..."

The door bell suddenly rings and max was confused on who could be here he got up opened the door to reveal JOSEPH

Max- Oh hi Joseph what are you doing here?

Joseph- Uhm ... I came to pick Samantha up we're hanging out ...

....

Joseph- Didn't she tell you??

Max- You know what..I just did come on in😒
He said with no enthusiasm and sarcasm

Samantha comes down

Samantha- Oh hey I thought I was meeting you at the park...

Stephanie just watched . Watched at this little awkward petty moment Max was clearly annoyed, Joseph was awkward and Samantha was kinda scared and awkward

Joseph- Well I thought I would just come her instead since the parks close

Samantha- Ok then..let me just do something first

Max glared at him then walked off upstairs slamming the door clearly showing he was not ok of what was happening I mean I would too Samantha didn't really tell him her plans was what she planning to say if he didn't come here?

After Samantha was taking some pills for her cramps they left

"Thank God that's over at least I'm alone"

"WAIT IM HERE ALONE WITH MAX which I might have a slight crush on ..!!

Few minutes later

I then hear max come down stairs on his phone and laughing

Max- Yea that would be great

Ok

Yea

Love you bye

He hangs up and goes into the kitchen and of course Stephanie's curious thoughts got the best of her and started obsessing "who was max talking to?? So many possibilities of it could be I mean that love you did sound flirty ...
