As the pair walk into the sheriff's office they see four teens and a Great Dane in a holding cell which in turn made them quite curious. The girl with red hair started to talk to her friends obviously not noticing the duo yet. "Just once it would be nice if someone thanked us for solving a mystery."
Then blond teen boy spoke a reply "Good thing we're not in this to be liked." All of them looked to him with an irritated expression. "You know that didn't come out quite right."
Valerie and Y/n give each other a questioning look. "Should we say something or just come back later?" Valerie asked. Y/n shrugged "We should probably just wait outside" So the pair decided to leave before they got noticed by the group of people... and dog.
●Time Skip Because Fred Is Being Blind●
After a while of waiting outside they see a black car pull up and a man climbs out of the car looking fairly annoyed. He walks past the girls and later comes out with the group of people they had seen earlier. He tells the blond boy to say goodbye to his friends and gets into his car.
The group of people look towards the two girls and waves at them. They wave back with a smile. The two of them walk towards the group of teens and their dog. "Hi, I'm Valerie and this is my friend Y/n, we just moved here."
"I'm Fred and these are my friends Velma, Daphne, Scooby, and Shaggy." Fred says reaching out his had for them to shake it. Y/n takes it and shakes his hand "Its great to meet all of you."
The man in the car honks at Fred and he quickly says his goodbyes to everybody and leaves all of them to go home. The rest of them talk for a little longer before their parents pulled up and took the rest of them home as well.
●The Next Day●
Today was Valerie and Y/n's fist day of school and they were actually pretty excited. "I hope I make a good first impression today." Y/n says obviously worrying. Valerie chuckles and puts Y/n's hat on her head(if you're not wearing a hat she ruffles your hair) "Don't worry N/n I'm sure you'll be fine. Plus who wouldn't love you, I already do." Valerie says in an friendly and reassuring manner. Y/n give her a big hug and sighs "Thanks Kitten, you always know just what to say." Valerie hugs her back and smiles "No problem sugar cube, I'm happy to help."
💬 A/N: Ok so to clarify the two of you are super close so you have nicknames like sugar cube and doodle for each other. When I use N/n I mean for the shortened version of your name like if your name was Olivia it'd be Livie. Lastly the two of you say I love you because you truly do but the thought of it being romantic has never really crossed your minds. Ok thank you for coming to my Ted Talk and enjoy the rest of the chapter 💬
"Now lets get to school and make some friends!" Valerie exclaims excitedly. Y/n chuckles at her enthusiasm "Alright calm down Val don't want to loose all of that enthusiasm before you even meet anybody."
After they finished getting the last of their stuff they left the house but not before Valerie pet the kitten and said her goodbyes.
Now they were both in the car and headed towards the school talking about little things until they hear a loud sound and see a large cloud of some sort of gas infront of them. There was a van sitting in the gas and some kind of weird green slime creature was walking towards it. The pair see it shoot some kind of slime at the van and start to shake it causing whoever was in it to start screaming.
Valerie reved the engine and got the attention of the creature. Once saw the other car it let go of the van and limped away disappearing in the gas.
The girls quickly got out of the car and rushed over to the van to see if the others were ok. They open the back doors and see the same people from yesterday thrown around the van. "I'll help these two and you go help the people in the front" Y/n tells Valerie who nods and heads to the front.
Valerie opens the passenger door and helps the Scooby out and then she picks up the Daphne and pulls her out of the van and sets her on her feet outside the van and gives her a sweet smile. "Thank you for the help." she says. "No problem Daphne."
While Valerie was doing that Y/n helped Shaggy out of the van and gives Velma her hand along with her even so charming smile. Velma gratefully takes her hand and gets out of the van and stands with the rest of her friends.
"What the heck was that?" Valerie asks. "I don't know but it looked like a mystery and I think that's a little more important than school." Fred says. "Mind if we join you guys?" Y/n asks. "The more the merrier now come on we've gotta see what's going on down there" Fred answers.
With that last sentence all of them go down into the sewers to try and find any clues on the slime creature.

Also I'm really sorry that I haven't updated in so long bit I promise I'll start trying to update the story more often.
