*Dennis X My Oc's Elizabeth/Molly ( AU of my AU -Takes place right before and after 'Glass'/ early in their relationships ( Elizabeth and Molly have to bare the loss of their loves)
Dennis had to go out to get more impures for the Beast, he knew Elizabeth wasn't going to like it because they had spent so little time together recently and they were supposed to go out tonight.
He sighed as he entered their room looking at her sadly "Lizzy...." he said softly.
"Yes?" she turns to him.
"I'm really sorry but...we're gonna have to have a rain check on our date....I gotta get more impures for the Beast" he said slowly.
She sighs deeply, sitting down on the bed "Do you have too?"
"I'm afraid so...both him and Patricia have been chewing my ear out all day" he sighed.
"I know they do that but can't they understand that this.." she takes his hand in hers "Us is a priority also?"
"I know it's just...its something I have to do" he said the same old excuse.
"Please stay awhile longer"
"Lizzy you know I can't"
She huffs "I don't understand why they can't ease up on all this some more and maybe relax"
"I'll make it up to you...I promise" he comforted her.
"When?"
"When this is over" he told her.
"It will never be over" she gets up and runs to the bathroom.
Dennis sighed softly walking to the bathroom, she'd locked the door so he knocked on it softly
"Lizzy...please open the door I don't want to leave on bad terms with you" he whispered.
"I don't want to talk right now, just go do what you're told again" she tells him through the door.
"I'm sorry...I'll see you soon" he said softly before walking away to get the impures.
She waits for him and even cleans the house while she does, feeling depressed.
The week goes on and she doesn't hear from him, he doesn't come home or call her or anything.
As she was setting up dinner for the night she turned on the news and heard the report of her loves being shot and killed at the hospital.
She collapses to the floor, staring at the tv in horror, tears streaming down her cheeks "Oh..my darling...no..."
The next few weeks were pretty rough for her, the guilt of their fight eating away at her as she mourned for her loved ones.
Even Molly had taken to the news very hard and was having a hard time at school. Elizabeth closes her eyes as she thinks about him "Oh darling.." she continues to peel the potato's for dinner, knowing Molly would be hungry when she got home from school.
Molly was just walking in the door and ran upstairs crying loudly.
"Molly?" Elizabeth knocks on her door before entering.
She was laying on her bed with her back facing her as she held one of Dennis's shirts. "I miss him so much" she whined
Elizabeth goes over to her and sits next to her "So do I, but now we have to keep going some how"
"But how...he's gone and I never even got to say goodbye"
"We both didn't get to say that because we didn't know.. this was going to happen"
