Chapter 3

Sykkuno POV

There's been less of Corpse on our Among Us rounds. Rose told me it was because he wasn't doing well mentally or physically. She says and I quote 'He's constantly eyeing me and glaring at Bingus for some reason, I bring him his food sometimes but he only eats half. He always gets texts or calls from other friends and the hospital/ his doctor. I'm worried because for the past week he's been pretty silent normally he says thank you or hums in response. Now there's none of that'.

Obviously it's just one of those times where Corpse just can't. Quite literally. Today was a day Rose was going over and i brought my travel whiteboard and 2 erase markers. I was going to see if he's willing to write what's wrong so i can help.

Rose went to do her own things and i went to Corpse hoping he was awake. "Corpse? It's Sykkuno can I come in?" I heard rustling and Bingus very happily meowing at my presence when the door was opened. Took him all of 10 seconds to lose interest and wander somewhere.

I sat down on the floor next to Corpse's bed and asked various question and he happily responded on the whiteboard. Once I figured out what was truly wrong with him I bid him a nice nap and left to find Rose to leave.

Rose made a basic dinner of Burrito's and desert being cinnamon jello. (She makes the best cinnamon and piña colada jello) we left and i told her what was wrong.

"Honestly he's just stressed from the abnormal amount of interaction he has with another person."
"Does he not want me around that often because I can stop coming over as often if that's the problem."
"Actually he wishes you could hang around more and make more food varieties from simple to intricate."
"But the problem is, that with his Ex she was never around and originally he didn't like being around people, not out of hate, just social problems he's had since young age."
"Yea you told me this when i first started 'taking care' of him" i playfully pushed her and continued.
"ANyWaY he wasn't good with interaction in the first place but now that you're around more than the closest person he's ever had he is taking the interaction he wants with you slowly."
"So he's trying to not overwhelm himself?" I nodded "exactly"

Later that day corpse joined our discord chat and played with us once again like nothing was happening, blaming it on the fact that he didn't sleep enough the last few days from binge reading. I decided to not mention anything and everything was normal again for the next few weeks. Corpse was interacting with Rose more, and Rose made him a 3 course meal that he finished all of with her at the dining table.

Things were going fine until Rose came home one day and started packing her Stuff in her room excitedly.
