Chapter 9 (the final chapter)

A few months went by and I didn't even think of that night. All was as it should be, me and Harley causing havoc all over Gotham, Batman stopping us and him forgiving me, and me and Batman still went on dates regularly.
One night I got a call from Batman saying to meet him on my balcony at 8:00. I did as he said and wore my finest attire. "Good evening, Bruce." I said flirtatiously," where are we going on this fine evening?"
"Only one way to find out!" Then he took my hand and pushed a button on his coat. His jet pack popped out and he carried me in a Cinderella cradle to where we had our first kiss. Me and Bats and I had been dating for a few years now and we were already talking about marriage. He set me down and held my hands exactly the way he had the night we first kissed. I was really confused. Then I knew exactly what was happening.
"Look, Catty, we've been dating for a while now and I can't imagine life without you anymore." He dropped down to one knee," Selina Kyle, will you marry me?"
I couldn't believe what had just happened! I answered him, but not with words, but with a kiss. We hugged and talked about me becoming a hero, I finally agreed, and we could officially get married.
A few days later me and Harley were at Arkam just walking around and talking when Harley said something very surprising to me," Cat! You need to hide! Now!"
"Why what's wrong?!" I asked.
"If Mr.J sees you... He- He might kill you!" She said quietly.
"Why?"
"Just please! Hide!" She said quickly, but not quick enough Joker had already spotted me.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" He said in a creepy voice," If it isn't Catwoman... I thought you were dead. Harley was supposed to kill you, right Harley?"
"Yes sir..." She said softly.
"Then, why is she here? Hmm Harley?" He had Harley by the shoulders and was shaking her at this point. Harley didn't answer. This angered the Joker so he threw her down and pulled out his gun," Answer me, Harley! ANSWER ME!" He yelled.
"She's my shuehsjheh..." She mumbled.
"What was that?" He asked impatiently.
Harley lifted her head and looked at him strait in the face and said," She. Is. My. FRIEND!" She snapped.
Joker pointed the gun at Harley. "I'm giving you 30 seconds to kill her or I kill you." He said harshly," 1..." He started.
"I'm not going to hurt you, Catty. You're my Best friend, I couldn't do that to you." She sobbed," Please remember me." Then she looked strait forward and closed her eyes.
"30, any last words, Harley?" He asked.
"No sir..." She replied. I couldn't bare to watch this happen.
When the Joker put his finger on the trigger, I new I had to do something, and FAST. So once I heard the bang I did the only thing I could. I yelled,"NOO!" And jumped in front of Harley just in time to save her life. But, mine was gone.
"CATWOMAN!" She yelled through screams. "Joker! You MONSTER!" Then she charged at him, attacked him, kicked and punched until she was sure he was unconscious. "BATMAN!" She yelled over and over until Batman came running into Arkam.
"What the heck happened here?!" He asked as he ran over to me and grabbed my limp body. I heard Harley explain the whole thing, but her voice slowly faded out and all I heard was a distant ringing. I breathed slowly and my vision slowly faded away and all I saw was blackness. They thought I was gone for good, little did they know, I was still alive.
