We arrived down town just in time to stop the Riddler in his tracks. We caught him on top of the Downtown Gotham Apartment Complex. Little did we know that Batman and Arrow were already there. "Canary! Over here!" Arrow whisper-yelled from behind the air conditioner unit. Canary ran and crouched behind the unit and I followed.
Soon Batman surprise attacked the Riddler. They fought for like five minutes and then the Riddler said," What is a bat's most hated animal but needs it the most to live?"
Batman looked confused. Then the Riddler said," Give up? That's ok, I'll just give you the answer. The answer is: Cats." He grabbed me by the neck and held me over the edge of the building.
"Catty!" Batman yelled. Arrow and Canary stood up and started attacking the Riddler which was the only thing I didn't want them to do right now because the Riddler dropped me. I was terrified. I didn't want to be defeated by heroes that were trying to save me. I was snapped out of my thoughts really quick when Batman's Bat-hook-thing-a-ma-gig wrapped around my ankle. I breathed a sigh of relief. My only problem was that I was upside down and my hood that was masking my identity wasn't as tight as it normally was. As I hung there, swaying back and forth, I could feel my hood slowly slide off with each motion. I braced myself for the embarrassment that I was going to face when they pulled me up and I didn't have a mask on. They would think I was a joke and Batman would for sure break up with me. A good twenty minutes passed before he pulled me up. I covered my face with my hands.
"Hey, what's wrong? Are you crying?" Batman asked looking my face up and down. I buried my face in Batman's shoulder and wrapped my arms around him. He soon realized I didn't have my hood on," Oh... I see, you don't have your hood on." I nodded still keeping my head on his shoulder. He hugged me and I hugged him back. I soon realized that as long as Bruce was by my side no one could judge me for being me, so I lifted my head, nodded to Bruce, and turned to the others.
"Selina!" Canary squeaked.
