A New Friend (Part 2)

The Next Day.. In The Same Place..

Neth's POV:

I came to the place he told me to. It seems I'm too early.

After a while, he came

I: "Hey Neth!"

N: "Oh, hi Indo!"
N: "What took you so long?"

I: "Ooh, its because I'm getting some herbs! So I don't need to take them when I got home"

He sat beside me.

I looked at the bucket he bring. Yes, a lot of herbs is in there.

I actually curious what herbs he bring, so I asked him

N: "What kind of herbs, do you usually harvest?"

I: "Oh, its some of these, which used to heal, and this, is for selling!"

(idk whats the herbs name in english. im indonesian)

N: "Ooh, like the herbs you gave me before?"

I: "Ya! That one"

I still have a lot of questions fpr him.

N: "You.. Gather the herbs for who?"

I: "I help my dad to get herbs. Its really fun!"

N: "Why he collect herbs?"

I: "For selling of course! Its worth a lot! He passed the Filipino sea, the China sea, and almost all Nusantara is in his hand!"

N: "Wow, your dad is amazing"

I: "Thanks! How about you?"

N: "Well, we live normal. We usually buy stuffs, and resell it."

I: "You don't help your dad?"

N: "He said that I'm too young for it, so no"

I: "Ooh. Well, wanna play a game?"

N: "Sure. what game?"

I: "Ampar Ampar Pisang! Well, its more like a song, but yea, its fun!"

N: "Song? Well, Ok, I'll just follow you"

We played it. Oh, its just like clapping hands. Its simple, but its fun

I: "Now, you sing it!"

N: "Eeh, ok.."

(For who doesnt know what is Ampar Ampar Pisang, its a traditional song from Indonesia. Idk if the game exist as the song created, or its someone elses creativity)

(Now lets just pretend that Neth sing the whole song. If I write all the lyrics, it will be to long)

N: "Bengkok dimakan api, apinya kesurupan-"

Indo stayed quiet, then giggled at me. Well, I think I said the wrong thing

I: "Neth, its clang curupan, not kesurupan" He giggled

N: "Oh.."

--

I was embarresed a bit, but, I feel warm when I see Indo smile.

--

We played pretty long that time. Till its noon

--

I: "Oh! Its late.. I should go home now"

N: "Ah, ok then! See you!"

I: "Bye Neth!"

--

Indo smiled at me, again. I smiled at him back, perfect when I don't see him anymore.
