Ch.16 : Having a good time

3rd Person POV :

Two days before the gala

"Are you sure about this Marinette?" Tikki asked her chosen. "Yes Tikki, besides I've already started making their dresses and I'm already finished with Felix and Luka's Tuxedos." she said. "if you say so, but don't over-work yourself okay?" Tikki asked her. "yes, of course Tikki." Mari assured her kwami best friend.

"Aunt nette? Are you up here?" asked a 8 year old Mar'i. "Mar'i! I told you not to disturb her!" said Kor'i. "Mar'i? Kor'i?" asked Marinette surprised to see her cousin-in-law and niece.

"Come here Mar'i, give your auntie a hug!" exclaimed a smiling Marinette with her arms open wide for a hug. "Yay!" Mar'i exclaimed as she jumped in Marinette's arms, giving her a hug.

"Sorry if we disturbed you Starting." kor'i said. "No, you don't have to apologize kor'i. I was just sewing a dress, plus I'm all for little Mar'i's hugs." she said as Mar'i giggled. "What are you guys doing up there?" asked Barbara. "Barbs!" Marinette exclaimed. "Nettie!" exclaimed Barbara as she joined the hug. "It's so good to see you again!" she said pulling away. "Yeah, me too." Marinette replied as she smiled.

"hello everyone!" exclaimed Jon. "Jonny!" Marinette exclaimed as her smile got impossibly bigger. "Uncle Jon!" Mar'i exclaimed as she jumped up and down near Marinette. "GROUP HUG!!" Marinette and Jon shouted at the same time and pulled the other three into a hug.

"it's been so long! hasn't it?" asked Marinette. "yeah, we all missed you, blue." Jon said. "yeah." "Mhm." "yup." agreed Barbara, kor'i and Mar'i. "i missed you guys too." replied Marinette as she hugged them tighter.

"okay, everyone get in line so i get the measurements for your dresses!" Marinette exclaimed smiling even wider. They all agreed and the night was pretty busy for Marinette, she spent it making dresses, suits and tuxedos for her friends and family and she did it with an enormous smile on her face.

And she couldn't stop squealing when she found out that Damian and Jon were dating, she hasn't been this happy in years.

She spent the next morning with her family, had lunch with her friends and evening working on the clothes in her room. And everyone loved their dresses when they tried them on. Tim and Jayson were awestruck by their suits and freaked out when they were told that their cousin is their favorite designer MDW.

And there it was, the day of the gala.

Cliff hangerrrrrrrrrrrr but not really

So i hope you guys liked the book so far, i worked really hard to give the book a double update and i really don't know what I'm gonna be doing after this.

This book is coming to an end really soon and i just want to thank you guys for all the support you've given me so far.

Hopefully i can give this book a decent ending. Anyways, bye!
