I am so bored

I wasn't allowed to leave my room, not even for food.

I was lying on my bed reading You are the one for me by Mineforever6 and talking to some friends on Wattpad.

I couldn't watch Netflix or anything because my mum had all the subscriptions canceled.

I tossed and turned in my bed watching the minutes tick by when...

KNOCK KNOCK

Was it my mum?

No, she headed out just a while back and she said she wouldn't be back for some time.

So who could it be?

I decided to check it out.

I went out of my room and then downstairs.

I crept slowly to the door with the utmost carefulness.

Unluckily for me, the front door has no windows or a peephole, so I had to hope it was not some kidnapper or serial killer.

I weighed my options between opening the door or waiting for the person to leave, but curiosity got the best of me.

I got one of the kitchen knives near me and opened the door slowly.

"Be careful, I have a knife so don't try anything you'll regret."

I told the person with who I was about to meet face to face.

"Okay." he said.

My heart sank and the color drained from my face. The moment I heard that voice, I wanted it to be a dream, I wanted to wake up from this dream-ish nightmare.

"M?"

I asked stammering.

I opened the door and there he was standing in front of me with his hoodie and jeans.

His eyes were sunken as always and his hair was all scruffled up as usual. His lips lacked moisturizer but his voice was as enchanting as ever.

"Wanna take a walk?" he asked.

I wanted to say so much to him. I was filled with a mixture of emotions. I was both angry and happy to see him, frustrated but relieved, worried but calm.

These feelings were all mixed into a bundle and placed straight into my stomach.

"Hello?"

His voice snapped me back to reality.

"Huh?" I asked confused.

"I asked if you wanted to take a walk?"

"Sorry, I can't I am grounded." I told him but I was actually thankful that I was because I didn't want to be talking to him, at least not anytime soon.

"I really need to talk to you about Central Park. I have been thinki-"

"Sorry I can't." I said cutting him off.

I began closing the door, but he put his foot before I could fully shut it.

"I know some information about the playmaker."

"What?" I asked him.

I could tell he said these things knowing that I would be interested. But I stood my ground, I didn't give in so easily.

"And... I also have some information on Dereck."

Dereck?

I completely forgot about the meeting I had with him, I tried my best to erase it from my memory.
