Chapter Twenty Five

Zaria -

"Look , Jerome we don't have to do this if you don't want " I said , he looked at me.

"I do , I do " he said .. I grabbed his hand as we walked into the tattoo parlor.

Nae -

Tears streamed down my face as I shook my head.

"Hey ma ! " Zaria said as I glared at her .

"What's wrong ? " She asked.

"Sit your fast ass down , what do you think this is ? Zaria I have done my damn best to raise you and you go and do this ? " I screamed at her as Quinton came to see what was going on .

"What are you talking about ? "

"You and this damn Jerome he's no good for you ! As your mother I'm telling you this you are not allowed to date him " I yelled as she shook her head.

"Why ? Because he's not rich ? Because his mother is an addict ? " She yelled back at me.

"Little girl do not raise your voice at me , Zaria I will pop your ass " I said as she rolled her eyes.

"I ain't did nothing wrong " she yelled back at me.

"What haven't you done ? " I yelled at her.

"What haven't you done is the question ? I'm so sick of every one in this house pretending everything is ok ! When it's not " she said as she threw her things down on the floor.

"You have damn roof over you head and and get anything you want cut it out Zaria " I yelled at her it was true I worked my ass off for all this to give my kids the perfect life.

"Where's the love momma ? Where's the trust ? You give us gifts to cover this up ! How bout you tell me and Zyson who our real father is ? Huh . I'm so sick of this house " she screamed walking out the door.

I sat there dumb founded , as Quinton shook his head.

"What was all of this about ? "

"That Jerome is no good for her , Quinton I have a feeling I know " I said.

"She's mature , she'll see .. You could've came at her about in a better way " he said I shook my head and walked up the steps.

Quinton :

"Hello ? "

"Uh , yea this Jerome ? "

"Yes sir " he said.

"Have you spoken with my daughter ? Do you kno- "

"She's right here " he said , I turned back around and headed home I'd give Zaria some time. I hung up the phone .

Nae can be hard on the kids sometimes , I know it's only tough love though . She gotta loosen up she can't be bitter towards them it's will start to run off on them being hateful and bitter ain't gone get them no where in life.

Zyson :

"Ahhhhhhh shit ! " I heard Zyshawn screamed I walked out my room going done the hall to the bathroom.

He walked out holding his self.

"What's wrong with you man ? " I said laughing.

"Heaven burned me , it burns when I pee " he whispered looking around making sure nobody was there.

"What the hell " I mumbled.

"You gonna tell ma take you to the doctor " I asked .

"Yea I'm gone tell her take me to the doctor so she can know I'm burning and we snuck out the house" he said sarcastically.

"Don't get mad at me cause you on fire " I joked as he stake faced me.

"Uh , tell uncle Garry and Dad " I suggested.

He smacked his lips . "Wish I would they can't hold water " he said shaking his head as we walked into my room I closed the door.

"Damn , what are you sure you only got head " I asked , I looked at him as he smacked his forehead.

"I boned her " he mumbled.

"Raw ? " I asked in disbelief.

" yea what could go wrong ? , she said she's on birth control " he strugged.

"Look rule number one you always supposed to wrap it up , now what if that birth control shit ain't working and you slip up and get her pregnant ? You want everybody to know you having a baby by the biggest thot ? "I said.

"I'm going to the seventh grade I doubt it " he said I shook my head.

"You never know " I mumbled.
