Chapter 5

~Daniel’s POV~ (Jade is now 8 months pregnant)

We’re on a plane. We’re going home! To visit my family! I cant explain how excited I am. Jade has a big baby belly by now. I told my parents that I was engaged. I told them that we were having a baby. I havnt told them who the girl is yet though. I want it to be a surprise! The plane is going in for landing and I slowly shake Jade awake. When we land I jump up and help Jade out of the plane. I grab our bags and we walk through the main entrace. I wrap my arm around Jade and we walk until I see my family. My mother Kim, my dad Tyrrel and my 5 year old twin sisters Kaylah and Macey. I hug them all and when mum see’s Jade she bursts into tears. “Jade darling!” She smiles pulling her into a hug. “I havnt seen you for ages!” Tears drop onto Jades shirt. “Wait… You and… Oh my gawd…” She mumbles putting the pieces together. “You didn’t tell her?” Jade whispers to me. I laughs. “It was a surprise” I smiles. “So is it a girl or a boy?” dad asks while hugging Jade. “We don’t know. We want it to be a surprise. “ I smiles picking up Kaylah in one arm and Macey in the other. “Did you give Jay jay a hug girls?” I ask them. They both shake their heads. “You remember Jay don’t you? She brought you the pink duckies” I say. Macey reaches her arms out to Jade and says “I remember you. My ducky is called Squirm” She smiles really big and Jade takes her into her arms. “My ducky is called Squish” Kaylah smiles reaching her arms out to Jade. Jade gives her a hug and we all pile into the car. “Im so proud of you!” Mum says. “You see! I told you this would happen Dan! I knew you wouldn’t lose her!” She laughs. “Mum! Shhh” I groan looking at the floor. “Whats she talking about?” Jade whispers into my ear. “I have loved you since I was about five…” I mumble. She leans over and pecks my lips. “So hows Harry?” mum asks. “He’s good… There going on tour in a couple of weeks…” I mumble. “Uhh Jade? I have something to ask you…” I mumble. “Well… Zayn and Liam spoke with Simon and they said that Crystal, you and I could go on tour with them… So do you want to go?” I ask hopeful. She nods her head. “But what about when the baby is born?” She asks. “The tour will most-likely be over before the baby is born. And if the baby is early we can either come home or Berty can just stay on the tour bus with us.” I smile. Berty is the nickname for the baby until its born. We don’t like the thought of calling them an it. “Alright then” She smiles. “They will be so happy!” I screach. She laughs and rests her head on my shoulder. “Hows your mum?” Tyrrel asks. I feel my eyes start to tear up and I see Jades do the same. She hides her face in my shirt and I feel a wet patch starting to form from her tears. “Dad…” I mumble. “She died last year….” I mumble. She was all I had, my dad left me and my mum and from then on Tyrrel became my father figure. My tears start to fall freely down my face and I place my free hand over my eyes. I feel Jade move her head off of my shirt and pull my hand away from my face. “Don’t cry… Please don’t cry…” She whispers to me. My tears start to slow down and I wipe her tears away from her face with my thumb. I hold her face in my hands and kiss her softly on the lips. Suddenly Jades breathing starts to quicken and she starts moaning in pain. “My water just broke!” She screams. “Dad! Hospital!” I scream trying to calm down. He does a quick Uturn and I give Jade my hand to hold. Squeezes the shit out of it. “Jade… I cant feel my hand…” I mumble. “Sorry bub” She mumbles taking a bit or pressure off of my hand. “You okay?” I ask her.

~Jayde’s POV~

The pain is excrusiating. I hate it. I will love my baby with all of my heart. I know that im just angry at the pain. “You okay? I hear Dan ask. I look at his eyes. They’re full of worry. “Just hurts” I mumble. It’s more than hurting. But I cant tell this to Dan. He will die inside. I know he will. Its just the kind of person he is. “We didn’t have to keep this baby” Dan whispers. “Dan! I want to… Its all worth it.” I try to speak clearly but with the pain it comes out as more of a whimper. He lets out a sigh pulling me onto his lap. “Daniel we’re going to squish you!” I laugh. It hurts to laugh. Don’t laugh… “You are not!” He groans leaning me against his body and placing his head on my shoulder. “I love you Daniel” I whimper. “I love you too Jade” He says sounding much more clear than I did. I hear ‘aaaw’ in unsion from the seats behind us and turn to see Kaylah and Macey watching us intently. “What are you two doing?” Dan asks reaching over and tickling them with his spare hand. “Your going to be a great dad” I say. “Thanks Jade. Your going to be an even better mum” He smiles. We pull up at the hospital just as the pain becomes even worse. Dan opens the door jumping out and picking me up running into the hospital. “Mum! Call Harry and the boys to tell them that the baby is coming” Dan yells as he runs me inside. I see Kim grab her phone and start dialling a number in as they all follow us into the hospital. “She’s having a baby!” Dan yells. His face is full of worry and I let out a loud groan. A few people come to crowd around me as a man runs through the hall rolling a bed along with him. Dan puts me on the bed and I give him a quick kiss. The people push me into a room and allow Dan to come in. “Push on the count of three” A lady smiles at me. “One” she starts. “Two… Three.. Push!” She yells I push as hard as possible and scream in pain. Im pretty sure im about to break Dans hand but it really hurts! “One more time” The lady yells again patting me on the leg. “This one should do it!” She yells. I have been in labor for 2 hours. “Okay. Count of three again” She smiles. “One… Two… Three push!” This time I see as the doctor picks up a baby and smacks does what he needs to do. “Here’s your perfect little boy” The nurse says taking him from the doctor and handind him to me. “Can I take a photo of the three of you?” She smiles. I nod slowly. And Dan sits on the bed next to me. I hear a few clicks and the nurse smiles. “Perfect!” She grins. “Do you think that your ready for visitors? Theres some people here to see you” She smiles. I nod and she walks out of the door and I hear foot steps trampeling down the hall. The first to come in is Macey and Kaylah. Then Niall and Crystal. Then Louis and Harry. Next are Liam and Zayn. Finally Tyrrel and Kim. “Geez! Those sisters of yours are fast Dan!” Niall complains. We all laugh and Tyrrel slowly walks towards me. “Jade. My beautiful little Jade…” He whispers tears forming in his eyes. “Im so proud of you both” He says wrapping me and Dan into a hug. “Is his name Louis?” Yells Louis. “We havnt named him yet…” I mumble. “What shall we call him?” Dan whispers into my ear. “How about Hamish?” I ask. Daniel nods, tears in his eyes as he pulls me into a hug.  “We didn’t call him Louis… Sorry Lou. But his name is Hamish” I smile.
