Promised Love (Demon Dabi X Reader) AU

The blue flame conquered your village with ease and your were running from it as fast as it was possible. Why my village? Why me? The thoughts ran in your head over and over again. You were just enjoying my lunch until your front door began to burn down, leaving the back door as your only exit.

You looked ahead. "If the fire reaches the forest, then I can never outrun it." Looking at your hands, your were deciding on whether or not you should use your quirk. "No one's going to say I'm a witch. They're all dead."

Turning around after reaching the village outskirts, your palm faced the fire as wind blew the fire away from you.

A black blur appeared behind you, grabbing you by your neck. The hold wasn't tight, just enough to hold you in place. From the flame, emerged the village's leader.

"Let her go, you malicious demon."

You heard a chuckle behind you. "No. We need her." He pulled you closer till your back came in contact with his front. "You took her away from me. Don't think I didn't see how you guys treated her. Like some witch because of her powers."

You were silent from all the confusion. They're taking me back? I was kidnapped? A force began to pull you back. Turning your head slightly, you saw a black portal opening behind you and the demon. The demon took a few steps back and walked into the warp. Your body slowly followed and began to get covered by the warp. Lifting your hand you tried to reach out the leaders who just stood there watching. Not even attempting to save you.

You were teleported in a room and there was a few others there.

"Is this the one you wanted?" A blue-haired guy with two broken dark-blue horns asked.

"Yes, Shigaraki." The demon who kidnapped you answered. He had black hair and numerous piercings that held his purple skin in place. His gray horns seemed to be in tact with a few cracks. "Kurogiri arrange a room for her. She doesn't have anywhere else to go."

"Will someone please explain what's happening? You're acting like I'm staying. I won't stay with fucking demons," you seethed.

"We kidnapped, no, brought you back to your home." Shigaraki answered.

"You are a demon. Why else would you have these powers? You belong here with us." Dabi grabbed your forearm. "Let's go...I'll explain in more detail as we go to the room."

That's when you learned about him. He was the kid you used to play with before you were kidnapped. The kid who tried to protect you from the kidnappers but ended up burning himself. This was your home. How else would you explain the reason for being here.

Once in the room, he embraced you. "Oh (Y/N) you do not know how much I missed you." The malicious demon uttered into your ear. "Do you remember me?"

You stayed silent. He's lying. All demons are hostile like father said.

"I'm not lying. Do you ever wonder why you don't look like your family?"

"I don't know you." You push him off.

"Very well then. Welcome to the League of Villains where you can never escape from." He walked out the door, leaving you in there to reflect.

You walked to the door and tried to turn the handle but it was locked from the outside. There were no windows. No escape. I might as well just accept it. No human can come save me.

As time went by, the memories you had when you lived in the demon realm came back. The eternities you had lived before getting kidnapped by humans all flooded because of Dabi. You started to remember your family, friends and Dabi. But you want to tell anyone, except for Dabi, who you were going to tell today.

Taking his wrist, you lead him to your room. "I remember you, now. It all came back to me the more longer I stayed."

He sat down on the bed behind him. "I want to cry now." He touched the skin under his eyes. "But my tear ducts got burnt." He laughed and you could hear the pain behind it. The relief that you had finally remembered.

Walking over to him, you held face, directing his alive turquoise eyes to look into your (e/c) ones. He took your hand and brushed his lips against your fingers. Pulling you close he closed the distance by connecting his lips to yours. You felt all of his emotions behind his actions. How he broke before he met you, only to fall apart again when you were taken. He pulled away, bringing your knuckles near his lips.

You were forced into believing that all demons were malicious. Everyone failed to realize that he too, has feelings. And when he kissed your knuckles and held you close, you felt just how broken he truly was.

He promised you an eternity. You promised him your love.
