Heart to Heart

Minho's POV:

Han has been sleeping for about an hour now and I just can't stop staring at his beautiful face. My memories are a bit hazy, but I think I did something bad and now Han has been forever traumatized by it because he won't leave my side and they have yet to leave me alone since I woke up. I run my fingers through his hair to comfort him since he starts reacting to a nightmare.

The nightmare seems to be getting intense, "Lee Know hyung," he speaks softly but he's actually crying which breaks my heart, "Don't do it. Please... don't leave me," sobs begin to shake him and I officially can't tell if he's awake or asleep.

I take his teary face in my hands as I call him trying to wake him, "Jisung-ah? Han Jisung!" He jumps awake and looks at me confused before sighing and hugging me like his life depends on it and continues sobbing.

"Baby, what's wrong? What happened? I don't remember what I did to get here, but it scares and worries me seeing you like this," I genuinely express while still embracing him in a comforting hug and rubbing his back with one hand and his scalp with the other.

"You jumped..." I almost miss it but hearing it brings back the memory of the incident. I remember hitting the water after hearing him call my name. I gasp in realization as even more memories begin flooding in and I feel my body begin to shake at the overwhelming turn of events.

I hear the machines starting to beep wildly. I look at them confused because I start feeling the breathing difficulties. Han tries to pull away to check on me but I won't let him go, "Yah!! Stop it, I'm trying to help you!"

"No... I-I'm s-so so-rry, Han-ah... I-I didn't m-mean for all th-this to h-happen... I-I'm such an idiot," I stammer in between sobs but right then and there, the doctor and nurses rush in. They then begin to pull Han away as I feel my airway beginning to close up. I hear his protests but my body is just not having it today as my vision begins to blur.

They start with laying me flat by bringing the bed down manually. They then begin checking my eyes and then my throat, at this point my eyes become heavy and I can't keep them open anymore.

Darkness just takes over as it always has...

Third Person POV:

Han is soon joined with the other members as they watch the doctors try to stabilize a now unconscious Minho. Felix back hugs Han who is now distraught and on the verge of rushing back into the room. Hyunjin comes in from the front and soon they create a cocoon of comfort around Han who is just bawling his eyes out.

Emotions are so high and the more empathetic members are crying along with him while the others are on the verge of tears but trying to stay strong for the others. A few minutes after the incident and after Han has calmed down, the doctor steps out and they release each other reluctantly to listen to the verdict.

"Alright so... we had to intubate him because his throat was slowly closing up and taking away his air supply. His heart is stable and so is his breathing now. Does anyone know what happened?"

All the members turn to Han and soon the doctor follows suit. He grimaces attempting to contain his emotions, "I'm sorry... he asked me and I couldn't lie to him."

Everyone sighs in disappointment, even the doctor who continues to say, "I don't know when we'll wake him up from the medically induced coma as of right now, but please, please, please... refrain from telling him any stressful things again because we want him to be able to heal before we can bring in stressors, does that make sense?"
