Chapter 6 | Sleepover (Hau POV)

I followed Gladion onto the boat, and after a while we made it to Akala Island. Luckily I had a ride Pokémon so I didn't have to walk all the way to his hotel, he just hopped on Silvally's back. Soon we made it to Gladion's apartment. It's not a bad place, it's actually quite nice to be honest. I really liked it. "I know it's not the best place, but uh... get comfortable, if... you... want?" It's obvious he's never had a sleepover before. I put my backpack down on a dresser so it didn't get in the way before I sat down on the floor and started taking my shoes off. He sighed and flopped down on his bed, I didn't realize he already took his shoes off. "Hey, you ok?" I asked innocently. He groaned but nodded. His Pokémon wandered around the room and laid down all over to place. Silvally was lying right next to the bed. "Do I sleep with you or somewhere else?" I asked looking around. My Pokémon had already settled in on their own. "S-... sure..." I turned my gaze back to Gladion. He was putting on a different shirt, apparently he already has pj pants on. "Hey, can I get changed." He pointed to a door. "Bathroom is over there." He mumbled, sleepily crawling back into his nest of blankets. I changed into a black shirt with a Pokéball on it and a pare of sweatpants. I walked out of the bathroom and slowly swivelled my way through the Pokémon, trying not to step on or wake anyone of them. I eventually got to the bed and crawled in next to Gladion. I tried not to move to much or stay awake long, I didn't want to bother him after all. But I can't sleep... could... maybe I could ask for snuggles? No. I haven't know Gladion for long but I know he probably wouldn't like it if I touched him. But how am I supposed to sleep? Normally I have my plushy to snuggle, now I don't... "what?" He mumbled. "Hmm?" I hummed in response. "You keep shifting around, so what do you want?" He sounded very annoyed. "Sorry... I didn't know I was doing that..." I mumbled back. He groaned. "I'm only going to ask you this one more time, Hau. You either tell me and maybe I can help or you can stay uncomfortable." He was obviously tired. "What's wrong?" He finished. "Well... normally when I fall asleep I have a plush with me... but here I don't have it, it sorta just feels weird without it is all. I'll be fine." I smiled sweetly. "You can snuggled me if you want." He mumbled tiredly. "Really?" My face heated up. Even though he was tired he still blushed a little bit too. "Sure... as long as you're staying still." He growled. I smiled as he laid back down. I slowly moved over before holding onto him and bringing him closer as gently as I could. He flinched when I moved him but I think he'll be fine! Probably... I enjoyed how cold Gladion was too, it was nice because I feel very warm. I'll try not to be to pushy with him, after all this is his house and he's a really cool person to have as a friend. I really hope I'm not annoying him... Gladion soon calmed down so he wasn't so scrunched up in a ball, his breathing patterns relaxed a lot so every breath wasn't so shaky. I on the other hand started feeling sleepy. Though it felt nice to be holding something so cold. I nuzzled my face into the back of his neck before drifting off to sleep.

When I woke up I was met face to face with Gladion. His face was very calm and peaceful, I've never seen him like this before. He always looks so annoyed or angry but now he seems so... cute. I smiled softly and nuzzled his nose with mine. He smiled a little bit before making a soft groaning sound. I pulled him closer and snuggled him deeply before falling asleep again.

When I woke up again I was on top of Gladion, this time he was awake too. I yawned before looking up at him. "Good morning." I mumbled. I was still half asleep. I snuggled into his neck and groaned quietly. I was so tired, that's weird... normally I'm full of energy but today I'm not. I snuggled myself into his chest a deeply as I could. I don't wanna get up. Gladion sighed. "Fine... it's not like I have work today anyways." He mumbled. I smiled as I felt a blanket cover my back. I yawned and quickly fell asleep again.
