Chapter 4 | Outrageous Battle (Hau POV)

Gladion's Crobat vs Sun's Stufful. This is ether going to be a interesting or very short Pokémon battle. Gladion is obviously over powered here because of his skill but Sun has determination. "Stufful use baby-doll eyes!" Sun commanded. Stufful then used baby-doll eyes, I think it lowered Crobat's attack not that it matters because Crowbat is still obviously stronger. "Crobat use air slash." Gladion said calmly. Crobat did as it was told. Stufful better move out of the way... "Stufful dodge it!" Stufful did its best to dodge but got hit with the last attack and fell back severely. Sun and Moon as well as Lillie all seemed shocked. Stufful struggled but got up and stayed determined. "Stufful, Brutal Swing!" Stufful tried to use the attack but Crobat dodge easily. "Use Bravebird." Gladion commanded. Crobat flew up before plummeting back down into Stufful. Stufful moved out of the way. For a second it seemed like Crobat was going to fall into the ground but just turned around and went right back up before trying again and hitting Stufful. Sun looked stressed "use Baby-doll eyes!" He said. Stufful used Baby-doll eyes but the way the last time went I'm not to sure it was doing to much. "Crobat return." Gladion commanded. Crobat flew over to us and crawled onto Rowlet. Sun seemed surprised. "Why did you switch out Crobat? He was doing just fine!" Sun claimed. "I'm not having you waste Baby-doll eyes on Crobat. It doesn't do anything I've trained him to ignore it." Gladion replied. So that's why it wasn't doing anything? Damn Gladion is good. Sun seemed even more shocked "you can do that!?" He asked. Gladion nodded. "Weaville!" Gladion shouted. Weaville waddled over "Stufful! Use Bide!" Weaville was caught off guard because Sun didn't wait for Gladion. Weaville was stuck in one place. It was obviously painful to Weaville. "Aww poor Weaville... he wasn't even given a turn." Lillie said sympathetically. "I have a feeling Weaville is going to be just fine." I informed her. She seemed shocked by my words. I don't think she is focusing on Gladion. He seems to be counting down for something. "Weaville now! Night Slash!" He commanded, as I suspected. Weaville used the attack and got Stufful off him. Stufful got knocked back really far. "Ice punch!" Sun commanded. Stufful tried it's best to get up just to be knocked back by Aerial Ace. It's obvious Weaville was winning but did seem injured. "Weaville, Shadow Claw!" Gladion commanded. And just like that Stufful was knocked out cold. "Stufful is unable to battle!" Moon shouted. "I'm aware, thank you!" Sun shouted back while returning Stufful to it's Pokéball. "Popplio! You're up!" Popplio shook it's head no, making Sun sigh. Moon giggled. "Weaville return." Gladion commanded making Weaville walk over to us. Weaville on the way back picked up Popplio and place it in front of Sun. "Weaville Weaville!" Weaville shouted to Popplio. Popplio seemed to gain confidence. "Lycanroc!" Lycanroc walked into the battle field. This isn't good for Sun. Lycanroc took rowlet out with two moves, maybe Popplio's water type moves will help balance things out? "Popplio use water gun!" Popplio used the water type move just to have Lycanroc stand still and seem perfectly fine afterwards. "Lycanroc Stone Edge." Gladion commands. Lycanroc uses the move just for Popplio to slow to dodge the rocks. "Popplio use Aqua Ring!" Sun had a hint of worry in his voice. Probably because he saw how little Water Gun did to Lycanroc. Popplio followed out with the attack and similar results were given. "Lycanroc! Use rage!" Uh oh. Rowlet flinched once the command was sent. Lycanroc's teeth became more visible as his eyes widened. I tightly held onto Rowlet. "Popplio! Use Pound!" Sun commanded. Popplio tried to move towards Lycanroc, just for Lycanroc to let out a strong howl and start busting down the rocks summoned from using Stone Edge. Popplio didn't get a chance to react once the closest rock to him was busted down. Popplio was grabbed with Lycanroc's teeth before being thrown. Lycanroc jumped up to Popplio and smashed him back down into the ground. Popplio was too slow to get away and got punched once again. Lycanroc threw Popplio into a remaining stone for Stone Edge. Popplio was still awake but just barely when the rage effect wore off. "Popplio!" Sun called out. Popplio slowly got up and tried waddling over to Sun. Lycanroc gently picked him up. "Lycan..." he said sadly before walking back over to us and setting Popplio down. He seemed guilty. Gladion walked over to us and brought something out of his bag. It was a full heal, he healed up Popplio. "I think I'm done for today." He said sitting back down near the water. He took off his shoes before resting his feet in the water. He was soon joined by his Pokémon. "Well I think it's far to say Gladion won!" Moon exclaimed. "No shit..." Sun said worried. "He is really strong." I mentioned. "Why does it sound like you already knew that?" Lillie asked. "Huh?" I turned towards her. "You seemed like you already knew Gladion's pattern and seemed worried when he commanded Lycanroc to use rage. Not to mention Rowlet flinching." Gladion's face expression changed from being calmed to being devastated. He turned away from us. Rowlet flew over to him and sat in his hood making Gladion flinch. I giggled a little bit. "Rowlet!" I called out. Rowlet turned around and flew over to me. He snuggled up on my lap. "Well, we had a Pokémon battle together the other day. He used Lycanroc and won pretty quickly." I explained. Gladion didn't turn back or look at us, he just stared at the forest. Lillie, Sun and Moon went on about something but I was focused on Gladion. After a short while I noticed he was taking deep breath's. Silvally walked over to him and Gladion pet Silvally. Gladion soon calmed down after that.
