The bell had rung as everyone started to quickly make there way out of the school. You would usually wait for Nicole but since she has rehearsal for the play, there wasn't a need for that.
You made your way towards your locker, putting away and stuffing things in and out of your bag before heading outside.
As you made your way out a shout coming from behind alerted you."Hey, Y/n!" A voice called out.
You turned around towards the sound of the voice where then you caught the face of Nick Armstrong.
"What!" You shouted back at him, slowly walking towards him.
"Where are you going?" Nick questioned, his eyebrow raised.
"Uh, home?"
"Well no shit. Nicole said I'm suppose to drive you home or did you forget" Nick said, his face painted on with no emotion.
"Oh yeah, I forgot" You remembered, your mouth forming an "o" shape.
"Okay then get inside" Nick demanded but his face still calm.
As you sat on the passenger seat, you noticed that Clay was with someone and it was a girl? Nick quickly noticed your gaze was directed at Clay.
"He's a douche you know."
"He isn't so bad."
"He dumped you after a week and now he's already in a relationship with that girl."
"What do you mean, they're probably just friends. You know you can't just go around assuming that just because a boy and a girl hangout doesn't mean they're automatically da-"
"See for yourself then" Nick said, gesturing at the people in front of them.
Your focus was now concentrated at Clay and the girl he was with. Though this time Clay's arm wasn't by his side by was now placed around her waist while her head laid on his chest.
"Still think they're friends?"
"Well...friends can still do that. What if he's comforting her or something"
The both of you continued watching them, but this time the girl's head had popped up from his chest and her lips were now on top of his. Clay's hands were now placed on her head and waist as he kissed her back, engaging in a full make out session.
To be honest, you wanted to get over him and you thought you did but witnessing that just made you more miserable and hurt.
"Drive" You said quietly, Nick instantly leaving.
The car ride was quiet. You didn't speak the entire time or try to form any conversation but it wasn't as if you were going to in the first place. Nick didn't even talk either but peacefully drove you home. As you arrived at your house, you were ready to leave and cry once you got to your room, but that was quickly dismissed.
"Y/n are you okay?" Nick asked, his voice monotoned just like his expressions.
"Yeah, of course, why wouldn't I be?" You smiled brightly at him.
"Because we just saw your ex-boyfriend making out with someone"
"So? I'm over him though."
Nick eyed you, knowing you were lying but didn't want to argue with you, so he nodded before getting back in his car and driving away. You watched him leave without another word, "weirdo."
