As the snow surrounded me falling on my face and nose, I started to think of all the promises Lee had made to me, that he broke shortly afterwards. He started to seem so heartless to me thinking about everything he said he'd do, that he refused to. I wanted to get rid of this feeling of loneliness and being without, but irate me up inside. Finally, my finger tips started to frost. My puffer could no longer contain the freeze that crept up my neck, and suddenly it seemed like the cold winter storm was no more. I look up to see an umbrella covering the night sky, my back now having a bigger jacket on it. I turned to the side completely now, almost as if I was in a trance to come face to face with Lee. He stood in the cold with no jacket and the umbrella far away from his face, but still he stood with a smile. In his left hand he held a tiny ziplock bag, pulling his arm out towards me. I look down to see two cookies within the plastic bag,
Two waifers
" I brought the waifers" he says in a chipped voice, forming a cracked smile at me as the snow fell around him.
This book is about a love between two people who go through hell and high water to find themselves, and hopefully find the truth of who they are within each other.
