Kozume Kenma was royally screwed.

It wasn't something he was all surprised about either. Hinata told him this was gonna happen, that eventually he'll see how amazing Kuroo is, how he made his heart race when asking if he had enough water, how his stomach did turns when he would come to his house and coax him to sleep at night. How could he not fall in love with him?

He didn't realize it until he stared in horror at his paper. The words Kuroo Tetsurou written with pretty hand writing and yellow hearts. Had he been drawing this and not even paying attention, was his mind that distracted with the man that was Tetsurou?

He took a picture of it quickly and sent the horror to Hinata

Kenma 😸: *attachment* Hinata, it's time for you to kill me.

Hinata ☀️ : oh no. It's started

Kenma 😸: how do I make it stop shouyo?

Hinata ☀️: ...uh...I don't think you can babes, I'll come over after school.

Kenma 😸: 😰 plz

Kenma 😸: bring snacks

That night, Kenma turned off his phone, knowing that even if he was hanging with shouyo, Kuroo wouldn't stop texting him about random things. The last thing he needed was getting deeper into the hole he was currently falling in.

"Isn't this the most cliche thing in the freaking world? Me falling in love with my best friend. Who would have saw it coming." The kitten like boy shoves ice cream into his mouth, his psp forgotten next to him.

His middle blocker red-head winces softly next to him, "at least it isn't the enemies to lovers troupe, I fell for that one."

Kenma can feel like glare coming up from his throat, "shut up with your freaking promise ring, you and Kageyama are sickening."

It was true, Kageyama and Hinata have been saying for over a year now. The tension from each other shimmering to love in less than months. It was a no brainer that the two would be together. Everyone saw it coming. Even if the two didnt show their pda in public, Kenma and Yamaguchi were unfortunate to hear everything about their relationship. Even the nasty details.

Hinata has a small blush on his face and fiddles with his ring a little, "that'll be you soon! You've done the first part, now you confess!"

Kozume blinks at the first year, before laughing loudly at him. "Y-you're kidding right?! You want me to actually say something to him?! Ha! No way."

He shrugs, "the worst thing will be him rejecting you..."

Kenma blinks at him, "That's the worst thing that could happen! I will die with this crush Hinata, no one will know."

"I know."

"You don't count!"

"That seems a bit rude."

"Shouyo"
