Emperor had previously taken you out to a fancy dinner as a date. It was at one of those fancy restaurants only rich people could afford. You know, the ones with cool looking desserts and shit.

Everything shes never had shes showin' off
Drivin' too fast, moon breakin' through her hair

After the dinner date, he took you out to a public garden. The moon was out and shining on the both of you. The garden had many different types of flowers, like roses, peonies, lilacs, tulips, and others. There was a courtyard in the middle of the garden with a beautiful fountain in the middle.

She's headin' for something that she won't regret
Havin' no regrets is all that she really wants

You and Emperor both walked hand-in-hand through the harden, stopping to admire the flowers every now and then. You two were in no rush so you both took your time walking throughout the garden, enjoying each other's company.

And I've been thinkin' about it lately

Once you two both made it to the courtyard with the fountain, Emperor suddenly stopped. You came to halt and looked back at him in worry, only to see him staring up at the moon.

Just how fast the night changes

"Emperor, are you okay?" You asked him with worry laced in your voice.

"Do not worry dear, I am quite alright. I am just busy admiring the moon." He simply answered, squeezing your hand in reassurance.

"Oh, I see." You looked up to the moon too. It gave you a feeling of comfort. "I think it's beautiful."

"Not as beautiful as you." Emperor flirted. You smiled.

Emperor suddenly fully turned his body towards you. He then grabbed your hand firmly.

"Care for a dance, my dear?"

But theres nothing to be afraid of

You gave him a sweet smile and nodded. Emperor smiled back and gently kissed the back of your hand.

"Then let us dance."

He pulled you into his body and wrapped an arm around your waist, taking one of your hands in his other hand.

Chasing it tonight, doubts are runnin' 'round her head
He's waitin', hides behind a cigarette

You both started to sway in the moonlight. Turning, swaying, stepping. The only thing that mattered to you both right now was each other.

It was calm and quiet. The sound of the running water and the crickets could be heard around the area.

Heart is beating loud and she doesn't want it to stop
Moving too fast, moon is lighting up her skin

As you started to grow more tored, you laid your head on Emperor's chest as he rocked back and forth. You were at complete peace. You felt safe.

She's fallin', doesn't even know it yet
Having no regrets is all she really wants

"Growing sleepy?" He asked you. You silently nodded.

"I think we should start heading home then. What do you think?" He rubbed your back. "I think that would be nice." You answered.

We're only getting older baby
And I've been thinking about it lately

He nodded and started to lead you to the exit of the garden. You silently rubbed your eyes. It had to be about 10:00 at night by now.

"I love you Emperor." You told him.

"I love you too."
