5. MISSING

“ There is no one inside!" They wondered.

“ I think Asad isn't lying. Maybe Joseph had a misconception!" They said.

“ Take care!" They left.

Asad sighed locking doors from inside.

* Few hours ago*

“ Kabir arranged bodyguards and they threw away my evil relatives from my home!" Rao smiled.

“ We need your help!" Asad mumbled.

“ Can you please provide me a hideout for a few days?" Sanajana asked.

“ Is everything fine? You look so tensed!" Rao is surprised.

Asad and Sanjana told how rumours are on rounds about her ghost.

“ Fine! I owe you both. It's my turn to repay. I will definitely help you!" Rao assured.

He took out his mobile after really long time. He isn't using it these days as he feared, his brother's son cum biggest enemy Purab would track his location.

He dialled his driver.

Asad quickly packed every belonging of Sanajana and replaced them with his parents' belongings.

Asad took Rao's number. And also informed about this to Kabir early morning.

Both Sanajana and Rao left at around 2 AM.

“Everything is fine here. Take care. I love you!" Asad pinged Sanajana.

“ Come back to me soon!" Sanjana pinged back.

“ One more month and I will be sacked from job. If I suddenly leave village without any reason, they might suspect me. If I move out after losing job, they won't make fuss about it!" Asad made a strong plan.

They passed one more week talking secretly on phone. Asad is being cautious as villager's focus is on him.

“ I really liked this house. The garden, fresh air, sunlight, pool!" Sanajana said.

Asad felt little happy and little sad, as she couldn't even feel nature all these days.

“ 4 more weeks and I will be in your arms again. We will ask Rao to get us some work; and will go miles away, happily!" He pacified Sanajana.

He is counting days, talking to  Sanajana on mobile, until he falls asleep every night.

It's the first time they didn't see each other for more than a week.

Sanjana too is missing him like anything. Especially falling asleep in his arms, listening to stories he narrates about his crazy students in school.

Two more weeks passed.

However, Ali who returned from town learnt about fuss over Sanjana's ghost.

Asad disdained them as allegations, as he doesn't want anyone about his secret wife.

“ I'm sorry Asad. We are in loses. You will have to resign. You will be remembered for your service!" The school management said.

Asad is happy. He intentionally spread the news in village.

His students are really unhappy. So are many parents. He is their favourite. Asad will miss them too.

He quickly started journey to Rao's home, to surprise Sanjana the next day morning.

“ I'm Asad, Sanjana's husband." He asked watchman to let him in.

“ Rao sir hasn't come to home since 2 months. Few bodyguards forced his relatives to vacate this home a month ago." He said.
