"Oh would you quit it with the Lifeguard shit!"
Bojack emphasized, growing impatient, "We have more important things on our hands, that book that Diane just wrote!!!! She humiliated me!! You need to buckle down with those writing skills and write one sooo much better......it'll knock their socks off!!!"
He rambled on and on and on to (Y/n).
"Bojack. Life guarding is my job. I literally have to go. Second, I think Diane wrote that book perfectly, I mean...there's a few things I would've done differently, but I thought she captured you as best as she could in that book. "Bojack went into thought, then out came a silent, pained. "I'm sorry...."
"You're fine, Bojack! I get where you're coming from. It's just not realistic to write you another. Although, I'll tell you what. I'll write you something you can keep with you forever. "
(Y/n) laughed lightly as she but on her visor and fastened her Fannie pack and made her way out of the doorway.
Bojack grabbed her arm and pulled her back lightly. "Write me what??" He asked curiously.
"You'll see."
With that, (Y/n) headed out of the door to her job at the WaterPark.
"Hey!! Well if it isn't (y/n) (y/m/n)!!!!"
She heard a cheery sing song voice come from behind her. She knew that voice the second it hit the air. "The actor that gave up on her dream! What a pitty."
"Stop rubbing it in." (Y/n) whined to Mr.PeanutButter as he came into her sight.
"Awee! You know I'm just playing!! Actually- I might have an opportunity for you in abouttttt a week! It's a huge role but I think you'd be able to nail it!"
(Y/n)'s eyes lit up. "Oh? I'm interested."
Mr.PeanutButter looked casually over to the side, smiley slightly. "Andddd I just know you'll like it—"
There was a long pause. "Because I was gonna ask Bojack to be the other lead role!"
"Wait...what kind of film is this???"
(Y/n) asked all flustered and confused.
"Oh, you'll see!" He said nonchalantly.
(Y/n) was nearing the park. "Okay, whatever, I'll see you there!"
"Diane knows something that you don't knowwww!" He whistles.
"Huh??"
"Oh! Nothing!""Weird"....she thought.

"So?? Is she going?!" Diane asked, on edge.
"That's what she said!!" Mr.PeanutButter exclaimed.
"Good good!! Bojack really likes her! I mean, he never stops talking about her. He made a whole speech to me about how much he appreciates her. Of course I didn't put that in my book despite that because I atleast wanted to respect that....I know (Y/n), you know (Y/n), she's such a good person! She doesn't give up on anybody. Bojack needs that. He's always needed that. Someone that would put up with him.""I'm still a bit worried....you know Bojack. He dims everyone's light."
Mr.PeanutButter added.
"They'll be fine. That's the last thing he wants to do. I know it. " Diane insisted.
"But-"
"He's protected (y/n) since the first day he met her!! Haven't you seen how if anybody slightly even says anything remotely mean to her he goes on tangents? Let's not forget he got a second room built in that house just for her, he wouldn't do that for Todd. He wants her to be happy. Maybe he's slipped on her here and there, but he always feels super bad and apologizes, he doesn't really do that for anyone else here, he gives us empty
apologies."Mr. PeanutButter goes silent.
"You're right. It's really strange too. Bojack's a jerk. I mean, as long as I've known the guy he's been a jerk. A real jerk. I wonder what makes him all soft and nice with (Y/n)?"Diane nods her head. "That's exactly why I think these two should just get over themselves and spit it out already."
Mr PeanutButter furrowed his brow, picking up his car keys from the island in the kitchen. "Now how are you so sure (Y/n) feels the same? "
She takes a deep breath, going over to the couch to lace up her sneakers.
"When me and (Y/n) hangout, and have those sleepovers, and read and write together...drink some whine....""Go on..."
He says, putting his sunglasses on.
"The way she talks about him, I've never heard her say anything bad about him. She talks so fondly of the guy. Her tone is always soft and caring when it's about him...any other thing she talks about, it's her normal tone."He furrowed his eyebrow once again, asking her for more.
"She...she even told me she loved him once...she might have been drunk though...but it sounded sincere.""I guess we'll see."
