I had a nightmare / (A True Story)

Chapter - 3

                                               
                                      The Rosebridge Fair

My alarm went off at 7 in the morning, the sunlight gleaming down at my face  from the window as I changed into my actual clothes my phone beeped *message from Jackson* "hey u still down to visit the fair?" Asked Jack. "Yes Jack I'll see you in 2 hours." I replied.
I walk up to my window and open it, the cold morning breeze hit my skin, the birds chirping, and the leaves dancing in the wind, it was a cold but sunny morning.

I put on my warm light brown sweater and sweat pants
And as I walked out of my room I grab my dark brown long jacket. As I walk into the kitchen I see my dad preparing his sandwiches and singing,"Baby I'm all about that base...bout that base , baby I'm all abou..."sings my dad."Well this is new."I said."Well, I realized that I like Meghan Trainer's music a little too much." Said dad."So how's your fair friend doing?"he continued. "Well I told him I'll be there in 2 hours."I replied. "Mhmm." He answered."here you go." He said as he handed me the sandwich 🥪.

*message from Jackson* "hey I'm on my way to pick you up."  "Yeah okay, I'm ready." I replied and set out to the river.
And there was Jack in a grey sweater and black hat."hey what took you so long?"Asked Jack. "Sorry I couldn't get past my mum but I'm here now." I replied. "Alright, so you ready for the ghost hunt?" He asked. "Uhhh...more like ghost investigation in a fair, but yeah, nevermind." I replied.

We walked up to Jacks house and into the front , there's the  road. "Why do you seem surprised?" Asked Jack . "Probably because Its been a week since I came here and I haven't been here yet." I replied. I followed him up the road and into a small cute bridge, it was a very beautiful place. Down the small bridge was a river with plenty of lotus leaves and plants and some even climbing up the bridge. As we crossed that just as Jack said there was a whole neighborhood.  We walked into the neighborhood and stopped in front of a huge sign that said 'Rosebridge Fair'
That is what the people like to call that place, and the place is as wonderful as it sounds."This is it." Said Jack. "Nice!, well then let's go in." I replied as we ran into the fair . There were a lot of stalls, toy shops and even ice cream and pies it was organized very beautifully. We bought ice creams and walked through the fair, but very strangely everybody was staring at us or wait, staring at me. I was very confused and I looked to Jack and he wasn't confused it seemed like he didn't care."Did we do something wrong?" I asked. "No, they are always like that, they never talk to people who lives at that house." He said. "You mean the house I happen to live in?" I asked. "Yes but don't worry, let's get outta here." He said . We bought some more snacks to eat and walked into the woods.

"Hey, so what happened at that house? Why is it haunted?" I asked . "Well the family who lived there were called the Rowley's , Mr. And Mrs. Rowley had 3 kids the youngest one was only 7 the middle one was somewhat 10 and the oldest one was 14. They were living the best of their lives. Until one day when Mr. Rowley and his kids was coming back from England some intruder killed them. Now some believe that the whole family is dead but some still believe that the wife is still alive." Said Jack. "Oh! So they stay there haunting the house forever?" I asked."How do I know that?" Asked Jack."Well , because you lived here your whole life." I said ."yeah,but nobody ever tells me anything." He replied.
"So is there any pictures of them?"I asked."I never thought about that." He said.

"You know I forgot to tell you , there's a basement in our house that's been closed shut since we moved , I wonder what could be in there." I said. "Why don't you come over today and maybe we can figure this all out?" I said. "Yeah okay, but first I have to be somewhere , I'll be there in 5." He said. "Yeah okay." I replied. And I went back home.
