LOSING IS A SIN

The next day when Nandu and Vasu were having breakfast in the cafeteria suddenly two body guards in black suit came to them making Nandu ask "What are you doing here leaving your king alone?"

"My lady the crown prince Chanakya passed away last night" One of the guard informed making Nandu tear up and stood as Vasu held Nandu close to her as the guard continued "Royal lady asked us to bring you safely to the palace."

"He's our father figure since our childhood. Ram is going to be most affected of us four" Nandu cried as Vasu consoled her. Once the car stopped Nandu and Vasu were escorted to the memorial palace where Chanakya's body was placed and the royal members stood around.

Nandu went to Devamma who sat in a chair and hugged her crying and Raghav stood behind them his hands on Devamma's shoulders comforting her. Vasu's eyes were searching for that one person who's an emotionless machine but he's no where to be found.

"He left this morning after paying his respect to the crown prince" she heard Sohail from behind.

"Do you know where he went?" Vasu asked.

"I've a few guesses but I'll try to find him" Sohail replied making her nod as they started the death rituals of the crown prince in a traditional royal way. She was with Nandu and the other family members untill the third day of the crown prince's death giving her support and Nadiya taking some business calls for Shiva and Daksha.

Vasu was looking at a childhood photo near an island when Devamma said "That's Ram with his mother when he was nine years old. He didn't want to leave that memory island which he named until his father promised to take him there twice a month" making Vasu touch the boy's pic and frown before running downstairs ignoring Devamma calling her.

"I know where he is take me to the memory island" Vasu said panting making Sohail look at other guards before nodding and started walking out of the palace followed by Vasu.

"How did you figure it out?" Sohail asked once on the boat making her look at him and say "He named it after all, didn't he? It's his favourite spot and would go there atleast for warmth or memories of his mother".
