Richie walked nervously along Eddie, the friday afternoon sun hung up high in the sky. "Where are we going rich?" A soft voice murmured, as the two walked past a small steam near the quarry. Richie just turned around a smiler before slowly reaching out for the boys hand and leading him a bit faster.
The previous day, beverly, stanley and bill had all come along with Richie to help him prepare this little spot. There was a little gazebo covered in fairy lights, with a picnic blanket in the middle. Once Eddie had seen, a small gasp escaped his mouth before a large grin spread across his face.
"Did you do this yourself?" He asked in awe as the two reached the area, grass overtaking most of the sides. "I had a little help." He says quietly, before motioning for Eddie to sit down.
The two talked for a while before richie sighed, looking towards the boy. "Ed's," he started, getting Eddie's attention. "There's a reason i brought you here." He says, his eyes scanning over the boys face. Even though they've only been friends for around 4 months, Richie still cannot process how beautiful the boy in front of him is. Eddie looks at him, motioning him to continue.
"I really like you Ed's. Not just you, but everything about you. The way your eyes twinkle when your excited, the shocked look on your face whenever i sneak into your room late at night, the way your face looks as if it would have as a baby while your sleeping, the way whenever you wear sweaters you always keep your hand tucked under the sleeve, oh and i like the way you"
Richie is cut of by a pair of lips swiftly making their way to his own, not kissing back as he was taking a moment to process it. The two kissed for a couple of minutes, Eddie holding Richies face while the other boy has his hands wrapped tightly around Eddie's waist. Then, without a warning they break away for air, both of their faces flushed.
"Will you do the honour of being my boyfriend, Eddie spaghetti?"
