Chapter XVIII: Remeet (Part 1)

Miyeon POV

These subjects that i take were such a pain in my head! I'm currently at the cafeteria with Lisa, She just came here after her last subject.

"What happened to you?! You look like a tired mom with a dozen kid!!!" She said while her face looks concerned and shocked, obviously also trying to annoy me.

I just rolled my eyes on her, I don't even have the strength to yell at her.

She sat across the table in front of me. Lisa put her bag on the chair beside her, "Do you need help?" Her eyes looks genuine while saying that.

I just nodded.

After we ate at the cafeteria, It was time to go home. We part our ways and waved goodbye to each other. "Hey! don't forget to text me when you get home myeon!! take care!" i nodded reassuring my friend as she waved for the last time until i can't see her anymore.

I was walking alone now, this street looks like just the street that I used to walk by when i go home in Korea.

"I don't want to go home now..." I don't want my parents to see my negative aura. I texted them that i'll just go to the mall for now.

I took a taxi and went to the mall.

I sat on a bench and took a deep breath. As I adjusted my sight to the people that walks by infront of me...

People come and go in our lives, but there's someone that you want to stay with along with you while watching other come and go..

I had a thought.

What if Shuhua goes to this mall?

Will she recognize me?

Does she think about me?

No.

I'm the one who made her come back here.

It's my faul-

My thoughts once again was interrupted by a phone call.

It was Lisa.

I answered it and she told me that she already got home.

"You? Are you already home?" She asked. "Nah. Maybe later, I'm at the mall. I'm sorry I didn't told you earlier, I just wanted some time alone."

"Oh okay, just tell me when you get home or your parents will think of me as a bad friend to you." Lisa said jokingly.

"Yeah yeah, I told them that i'll be going home late okay don't worry."

"Okay take care! Goodbye. Text me when you get home" She said before hanging up the call.

The next day....

After class, i was on my way to our spot in the cafeteria to see Lisa waving like a child to me. I'm thankful that I have a friend who doesn't lose energy.

Suddenly i bumped into a girl, "I'm sorry!" I immediately said while bowing 90 degrees and helped her pick up her books and other things that fell. After i picked up all that i can and gave it to her. "I'm really sorry i was looking at my friend and i didn't see yo-"

What?

Is this- S-Shuhua?

"It's okay, I'm sorry too I was walking fast.." She apologized. I was still staring at her, looking if she will recognize me. "Uhm, are you okay?" she asked as she waves her hand in front of my face.

"Miyeon!" Lisa shouted that made me snap out of my thoughts, "What happened to you?" She asked and then looked at the girl that really looks like Shuhua, she just also stood there and stared at the girl.
