His true feelings?

It was a normal day in liyue, the sun was shining and the birds were chirping. A few boats were out on the sea. The weather was perfect to go sailing. Childe was at the bank, talking to some of the fatui members, just doing his work. He wasnt paying attention to what they told him. His mind was filled with zhongli. Everything was about him and there wasnt any second when he didnt think of the archon. He had developed feelings for him butr didnt know how he should tell him since he knew about zhonglis past with guizhong. He felt bad that he loved zhongli, he knew that he doesnt feel the same, he is too attached to guizhong. Still he decided that today was the day when he would tell zhongli about his feelings. About all of them. He sighed and walked out of the bank, telling the fatui members to come back later since he had a important meeting. He made his way to wangsheng funeral parlor where he knew he would find zhongli. As he walked insdie he immediatelly walked to zhonglis office, opening the door then slowly closing it behind himself. Zhonghli looked up aat childe, looking directly into his shining blue eyes.

"do you need anything childe? It is very rare that you come here to meet me" he said with a deep voice

Childe stood silent for a few seconds tne repllie with a quiet "yes" he took a deep breath and walked closer to zhonglis desk "i have something i want to talk to you about"

"well then, please take a seat, i will be listening to what you have to say" he pointed at the chair in front of the desk

Childe nodded and sat down "well, i have to admit something i cant keep carrying around with me all the time" he looked down then looked up again, whispering loud enough for zhongli to hear "xiansheng" he sighed and took a deep breath "i know that my feelings are at the wrong place and this is not a good time but, i have a feeling in my stomach whenever i am near you, when i look into your eyes, when i talk to you, when i just hear your voice and think about you." he looked into zhonglis eyes "i am in love with you. I really am but i know that you dont feel the same for me"

The other male sighed "childe-"

he was cut off by the harbinger "call me ajax. Ist my real name, the one my parents gave me"

"well then, ajax. I cannot tell you about my true feelings just yet, i am aware of yout thoughts according guizhong but i am sorry, i am not ready to talk about it yet."

"thats fine zhongli, dont worry about it" he stood up with a smile on his face "i will wait for a response until you are ready!"

"thank you. Ajax." he smiled at the other male

"its no problem! Anyways, i have some work to do and i have to get it done fast so have a good day, if you need me you know where to find me" he waved and walked outside.

Zhongli waited a few seconds then stood up and followed childe, he was always waching what he does so he wouldnt get in any trouble. Childes thoughts about guizhong were wrong, zhongli loved childe since he saw him for the first time, thats why he always wanted to protect childe. He dindt want to lose him like he lost guizhong. He couldnt lose the person thats the most important to him. childe walked accross the harbor he spotted beidou. he walked towards her and put up a fight. Childe has always been beidous rival, she wanted to kill him so many times but never got te chance to do it. He remembered their last fights and wanted a equal fight this time. He would alwaya use his foul legacy form and got much more poweful than her but since the fight should be equal he didnt want to use it. Childe and beidou were already fighting for quite a while. Childe still didnt use his other forms. Beidou didnt know that childe wanted an equal fight so she was prepared for the worst. They didnt notice that zhongli was watching them. He wanted to stop the fight but as soon as he wanted to move he realized that beidou had stabbed childe with her claymore. Childe started coughing up blood but to his luck the weapon still in his stomach. As soon as he could evern realize it he fell to the ground. Beidou pulled her claymore out of his stomach, making him lose his blood at a rapid pace. Blood flowing out of his stomach and dropping down from the corners of his mouth. Childes eyes started to close until he heard a familiar voice say his name. It was zhongli, he saw it all. All that had happened, he was there.

He weakly opened his eyes and looked up at zhongli "zho.. Morax.. Ple-please watch over-" he coughed up some blood again and his eyes started to close "teucer for me"

Zhongli started shaking childe, hoping he would wake up again "childe! Please! Please chi- Ajax wake up! I didnt get to tell you my feelings yet!" he held childe in his arms and stood up, looking at the sky and tears forming in his eyes "i loved you childe.. I always did"

Beidou and zhongli looked at each other. This wasnt supposed to happen, both of them were shocked, tears streaming down zhonglis cheeks as he held childe in his arms who had lost most of his blood. There wasnt any chance to bring him back to life but zhongli had an idea. He took beidou and went to guyun stone forest where zhongli finally laid childe down. They were on the highest hill and looked at the sky. Zhongli was an archon, morax. Rex lapis. Both his forms. He sarted to "transform" into childe. He could re-create every part of his body, except for the eyes.

Beidou looked at zhongli, who was now loking like childe "are you- you are morax? Rex lapis, the geo archon?"

He answered her calmly "i am indeed. This was the only way to get him back to me. I need him with me and he will be with me forever now"

She looked at him then looked down "i am sorry, i didnt expect it to go like this. I tought he would transform again but i guess he wanted the fight to be equal for the first time."

"it seems like it" he said and looked up at the sky again "maybe someday i will be able to get you back, with the help of the last archons, i could make you an adepti like xiao but maybe you wouldnt want that."

This will continue soon! And who knows, maybe zhongli will get childe back and they live a happy life like he thought they would! sorry about any grammar or spelling mistakes, i cried while making this
