George and Clay drove back from the beach. George was sleeping in the car seat with his mouth open. Clay thought it was very cute. He was so lucky to have George.
They arrived home and went to bed without brushing their teeth. They took the cold blanket and pulled it over them. Clay put his arms around George's waist and they both fell asleep.
The next morning George woke up. It was 10 o'clock and Clay was already awake and watching TV. "Oh hi George" Clay said while looking at the TV. "I made you breakfast. It's on the table." "Thank you!" George said.
He walked to the table. Clay made him pancakes in the shape of hearts and strawberrys around it, with a cold glass of chocolate milk. He loves pancakes. Especially if Clay made them, couse they always tasted better then when he would make them himself.
A few hours had past. Today they had an appointment at the skate park with a friend of Clay called Tommy. It was clay's best friend. He was always nice to him and they always shared all of their secrets. Before they went there they had a quick lunch and got into the car with their mouth full.
"Hey Tommy" Clay said when they arrived. He hadn't seen him in a while. Last time he saw him was before the summer vacation had started. How are you? Tommy could always only talk about girls. "I'm doing well. I met this girl today. She stands there" Tommy said pointing at her. Clay looked at the girl. She was wearing a green T-shirt with short jeans. "Yeah uh- nice" Clay said cause he didn't really know what to say.
"Soo... What should we do?" Tommy asked. "maybe we can go drink something." George said. Tommy and Clay thought it was a good idea. They went to the nearest cafe. "Do you have a table for three?" George asked the waiter. "Yes of course. Follow me" The waiter answered.
"Would you like something to drink?" George ordered an ice tea, Clay ordered an ice coffee and Tommy ordered a cola. "That's all?" the waiter asked. "I think so." George looked at Clay and he nodded. "Yeah that's all" George told the waiter.
Tommy didn't know about Clay and George's relationship. "And George, how are you doing with the girls?" he asked. George turned red and looked at Clay. "I guess we can tell him" Clay whispered in George's ear. "Uhm... Actually Clay and me are a couple now" George told Tommy. "Wow.. I really didn't expect that" Tommy said. He didn't seem to be that happy with it. "Uh- I -I have to go." Tommy walked away and slammed the door behind him.
"What's wrong with him?" Clay asked George in shock. "I don't know. Maybe it's just to much for him. I mean you haven't seen him in a while and now he hears we're in a relationship." George looked into Clay's eyes and there was an awkward silence. "Uh maybe we should go too." George said uncomfortable.
George and Clay drove back home and talked about what just happened. "I thought he was my friend and that he would support me no matter what, but he doesn't." A tear rolled down Clay's face. "Oh Clay. Maybe you should talk to him. He probably didn't mean it like that." George said. "Maybe I should" Clay replied.
They arrived home and ate dinner together. I think i'm just gonna go to bed" Clay said. He was tired and still wasn't over what happened today. "Oh okay, that's fine. I think i will go to bed soon too. Good night." George replied.
He scrolled on his phone for half an hour, but he got really tired. He brushed his teeth and also went to bed. Clay was already sleeping so he had to be very quiet.
He couldn't sleep. It was too hot. He started thinking about last night, when him and Clay were sitting at the beach. That gave him peace. He loved Clay so much. He never loved someone this much. Eventually George fell asleep.
