OKA

Oka sat patiently waiting For her brother to come home, he always left for a few days every month. He never explained where he was going but it was just part of the routine. He'd come in on the first day of the month and bring Oka a bowl of Ice cream, He'd tell her he was going to leave again and then she'd go into her room and he'd pack his things. It was Normal now. Not as scary when he left.

But for now Oka was waiting on him to bring her Ice cream and whatever he found along the way. 

Severus and Oka had always gotten along. So when the accident happened they were ok for the most part. Their father had been killed for being a Hexs (which is all to common) Oka barely remember her dad, but she remembers him being tall and having a skinny figure, she could never put a face on him but she imagined someone kind with a stubbly beard. She had drifted back to her daydreams when she heard knocking on the door. Then the turn of the key in the padlock that kept the door shut on windy days and in walked in her brother.

Oka didn't have to look to know who it was. He came in sat next to her and they ate the ice cream and sat in silence.

Severus went on to talk about his adventures "And when I got back to my room there was another guy in it and I had to change rooms, and he was so annoying. I couldn't start working without him interrupting to tell me about..." He strained to think of something to say. "to tell me about his new girlfriends mom or something I don't know.. But the point is he's annoying and I had to change my room.. and I had just gotten used to the new place" He stared for a minute. He had never been one to relax and stop thinking, he would tear himself apart walking back and forth trying to plan something.

"Anyways, how did you fair while i was away?"

"I did fine. I went to school made sure all the doors were locked. Pretty boring.." Unlike Severus Oka's brain often was silent she would enjoy the small thing and the people she loved without stressing to much. "Oh by the way you got some mail" Oka had always been told it was rude to snoop in other people mail. But yesterday out of boredom she opened the mysterious letter. It was unsettling just listing locations. Places where people she knew lived. She couldn't stop thinking about it.  Why would Severus need this? 

Severus was not alarmed by the message, he just ,u,bled it under his breath amd put it in his back pocket. 

"so why'd you open the letter?"

Oka had thought she was Sneaky. She had opened the letter and glued it back shut, apparently she hadn't done such a great job.  

"I don't know, I was just bored"

"well you shouldn't open other people's mail" His voice being more stern than usual.

Oka didn't apologize or talk any more about it. She just got up and walked to her room.
