Hi! Milo here!
I want to say a few things before the story begins
1. The picture at the top of this chapter is what Kota looks like during his 2nd year, not during his 1st year
2. Akari is Kota's deadname*
3. Kota will be both misgendered and deadnamed in the story.
4. Gender dysphoria can present itself different in different people, how Kota's gender dysphoria presents is loosely based off of how mine presents (I'm transmasc)
5. There will be mentions of the following possibly triggering topics in the story:
Self-harm
Suic*de
Bullying
Transphobia
Homophobia
And over all Mental Health.
There will be trigger warnings in both the beginning of the chapter and in the title chapter when it does get to these points.
6. In the picture mention above, Kota is wearing the male Nekoma school uniform, there is a reason for this:
I have a headcanon about Nekoma highschool that, even to closeted gender-nonconforming students if you privately or publically speak to a counselor or other school staff member, they will make accommodations to make you the most comfortable while attending.7. I do apologize if the canon Haikyuu characters are a little out of character, I am trying and not everyone is perfect.
8. I, sadly, do have a life outside of writing on Wattpad. The updating schedule is simply when I am able to update the story.
9. Any art of Kota and/or Rei are done by me, unless otherwise specified.
10. Kota is an OC, Rei is technically an OC as well, though not much is made about her. Rei will be in the plot throughout the story, but nothing will focus entirely on Rei
Thank you!
~ Milo
