That

Saturday(week 2)
I woke up, confused and hungry. "Ow." I groaned as I slowly sat up, my back making me feel as though I had aged 50 years.
I look at my surrounding, as I realize I fell asleep at my desk. I rub my tired eyes and scoot my chair back, deciding it was time to stand up. I let out a yawn as I stretched my sore, non-existent muscles. Speaking of time, what time even was it?

I look over at the clock on my nightstand before freaking out; "Shoot it's already 9:30, why'd my alarm clock not wake me up?!"

I practically scramble around my room, trying to get ready in a hurry, before rushing downstairs to a more than odd sight. My parents were sitting at the table with coffee and different reading items in their hands. At my panicked entrance, they suddenly turned their attention towards me with a hint of confusion.

"Dear, would you like to inform me as to why you're dressed as if you are going to school? Did you join a club?" My mother asked me.

"Huh? No, I haven't joined a club yet. Also of course I'm dressed to go to school, after all today is-." I start before abruptly stopping mid sentence.

My father appeared to have noticed the look of realization on my face as he suddenly spoke up, "You possess a phone and yet you cannot even tell what day it is." His eyes narrowed and his voice was firm, as he let out a light sigh, clearly a little exasperated at my idiocy.

I bow my head, a little mortified that I had forgotten today was a Saturday. I don't have anything to really do over the weekend though. You see, I don't exactly have friends per say. I mean- unless you want me to count Kubo-kun. As much as I'd like to consider Sho-senpai as a friend, I don't see him that way so he doesn't count! Those girls from class don't either, since they only want my brother. Might as well head back to my room and watch a show or something.
I walk over to my small Astro Ai mini fridge and decide to grab a (drink) before going to my little snack compartment in my closet and grabbing (f/s).
Ok, today I'm finally gonna do it. I'm gonna accomplish this new found task. I heave out a sigh as I gaze upon the remote in front of me. I'm going to finish 'Magical Girl Ore'. I've put it off far to long, today is the day I finish this once and for all. I refuse to be beat by embarrassing scenes and a teenage girl/grown man in a magical girl suit!

I lied. I was defeated. I can't do it! I pressed the power button on the remote and rolled over so my face was covered by the pillow, before I started a strange squealing tactic to release all of my second hand embarrassment. Some say the sound could closely rival the sound of a squealing pig, but I digress.
I lay on my back and stare up at my ceiling, something I feel I've been doing a lot lately, before rolling onto my side.
I stare at my hand as I remember how it felt when Sho-senpai held it to help me up. My hand has felt oddly cold and empty since then...
The realization that I truly don't have anything to do today, hits me like a bullet train. I should really get some friends... To be honest though, I've never been the biggest fan of weekends, since I've never actually had friends. Yeah, acknowledging that hurt more than I thought it would.
Don't get me wrong, I don't like being in school, but at least I have something to do with people I know... Granted that's only Kubo-kun and that make shift gang, but it counts!
Back then I had my brother to entertain me...if I was bored, I could just go find him and have him give me a speech about random facts about space and 'Planet X' till I eventually fell asleep.
I couldn't help but feel myself frown as I remember Saka-kun left. I'm alone now. This house feels empty... Without the sound of his classical music he'd play on that old radio, while learning more about space, it doesn't feel right. I wish Kubo-kun was allowed to come over, or- or sho-senpai...
My face exploded in a shade of red, as I buried it in my hands. I rolled around, trying to forget I had even thought of something like that.
I don't have long to wallow in my embarrassment and self pity, as I hear my mother calling me down.
I begrudgingly stand up and slowly make my way down stairs, as I see that my fathers already left for work, and my mother is currently sitting in the living room with her computer.

"Honey could you get the door, someone rang it and I'm in a meeting so I can't leave my computer." She says her eyes never leaving the screen.

I sigh as I make my way over to the door to open it.

Who's at the door? Perhaps a rival?- or maybe someone 100x better? You may never know- like seriously I will probably forget to update this book again and you may actually never know lmao. To be honest I've had this draft open for forever and just really didn't know what to write, but the second I started I almost didn't want to stop, but I need content for the next chapter so I can't just shove it all into this one🤷‍♀️.
