A brief moment of silence as I was walking to school, and because of the silence, I could hear my heartbeat. I could hear it beat, then beat another time. I looked around for a while then I suddenly got goosebumps from the cold breeze, and anxious from the thrilling tune of a heartbeat. I saw a girl walking, struggling while carrying her bag of props. I walked towards her and began hearing her breathe. I gently tapped her shoulder and said, "do you need help?" She nodded and as she lifts her head up, I saw everything in slow motion, her hair was flowing slowly in the air, glistening. She was sweating, a girl that is sweating? That is disgusting. Is what some would have thought. And what I, would probably had thought if not for the slow-mo effect that I saw. But what I thought was something different, I saw that she looked stunning, with sparkly sweat, shiny hair, and a face of excitement. I couldn't help it but stare, it's like the world stopped for me. Snap! I snapped out of it and thought of lending a hand. I insisted on helping, so she handed me the props with a beautiful and kind smile. We started walking, silently, with the gentle breeze brushing off our cheeks. I looked at her. Then, again, I can hear my heartbeat. I can still heart my heart beat, and another beat? What? it skipped a beat?
