It's been awhile since you visited your best friend, Hoseok so you took the first train back to Seoul, planning to stay the weekend.
You pull your phone out of your hoodie pocket, since you are wearing leggings and a crop top under your hoodie you don't have a ton of room for storage.
You dial the number you have memorized by heart and after 3 rings it picks up.
“Hello?” Hoseok sounds out of breath, so he must have been dancing, which is nothing new as that's how you both met to begin with.
“Hobi hyung~ I’m in town for the weekend! Can I come see you?” Even if he can't see you, you pout anyways.
“ah.. I’m working right now but you can stop by if you want? I'll text you the address!”
You agree and wait for his text before typing the address into your gps on your phone.
It doesn't seem too far from the train station so you decide to walk it.
After looking carefully at a row of buildings you hear Hoseok's signature laugh, which can never be missed.
You open the door and take a step inside, a bit surprised to see it empty.
“y/n! You made it!” Hobi walks away from his friend and hugs you tightly as you approach.
“I thought you were working?” you ask him, raising an eyebrow at the empty room.
“I am! My next class is soon. I was just catching up with a friend of mine.” Hobi walks you both over to a rather tall skinny man who stands there regarding you silently. “Taehyungie, this is y/n! I met her when I was in college.”
You bow and offer a smile with your greeting. This Taehyung guy is really easy on the eyes, in fact he's gorgeous.
“nice to meet you.” His gaze roams appreciatively over your form, making you fluster just a little.
“likewise.” You reply as the front door swings open and a long line of people make their way into the room.
“you look familiar.” Taehyung whispers to you, his eyes staring straight into your soul with how hard he's staring. It makes you a little flustered to have his attention so suddenly.
“ah.. i-"
“welcome everyone!” Hoseok greets the rather large number of people in the room. “I have a special treat for you all today! How would you all like to learn a little something from famous singer Becky G's lead backup dancer?”
Taehyung's eyes widen as he stares at you, the pieces clicking but before you can reply to him, Hoseok is ushering you closer.
“help an old friend out?” Hoseok mumbles to you, his sweet eyes begging you. You were a sucker for how much you cared for Hoseok.
“sure, is it okay if I warmup?”
He nods to you so you pull the hoody off and move out of view so you can stretch and work your legs.
Even if it was a weekend off, dancing is never an issue.
“what will you be dancing for them?” Taehyung makes casual conversation, following you around. You can see the clear excitement and curiosity in his eyes, so you let him.
“i'm from the Dominican Republic, so the Bachata.” You smile at him before bending sideways so you don't pull a muscle in your side. You grab a hair clip and put your curly thick hair up or else it will just get in the way before resuming.
“isn't that usually done with a partner?” He tilts his head as he asks, making his loose brown curls fall into his face.
“you know of the Bachata?” You raise an eyebrow, smirking at him.
