"How many times do I have to tell you? I'm not going to that stupid party, Kaito." Maki groaned, this is the fifth time this week that Kaito had been bothering Maki about this party.

Parties never go well.

"Parties with people like *you* always end in catastrophe."
Maki sighs as she walks away.

"Heyy, what do you mean people like me?? Maki! Wait up!!"

Kaito's shouting faded away slowly.

*40 minute time skip*

Maki sits at her desk as the dismissal bell began to ring.

"Hey Maki!"

Maki flinches slightly, turning around to see Kaede's warm smile.

"Ah, hi Kaede. Did you need something?"

"Oh! Yeah, uh.. I was wondering if you were coming to that party next Saturday? I mean, I don't know if parties are really your thing or-"

"Why are you asking? Are you going?"

The girls make eye contact

Kaede nods.

"Yeah, I am."

"Ah, that's nice. I'm going as well."

"Really? Yay! We get to see each other outside of school!" Kaede cheered and hugged Maki.

Maki's face heated up, her face was going slightly pink.

Maki looks forward to this party. She'll be able to spend some time with Kaede.

These are going to be a long few days.
