After they all left I took a few hours just to stop freaking out. So I'd found nearly all the members of Night raid.

That was amazing. But still. I couldn't just go out of my way to get too close to them. I had to take it slow for now.

I just chewed on the pen I was holding looking out the window. I wonder if they'd come by again today. Akame might since the carnivore's delight.

I don't know much about the others. I wonder how different they were in this world. But still... They were them.  My beloved teammates.

But still, I had some work I could do. So I just cracked my neck and grabbed my phone. I had to make sure I'd be okay with ingredients. Especially meat since I had enough for normal appetites. But not Akame levels.

(Time skip)

Finally, I had a day off from school. I put on my more casual clothes and decided to at least go for a walk. Of course, I'd return to the kitchen soon enough to open. But I still needed to clear my head.

So I just walked waving as I passed by the occasional person I knew. Whether they were a customer or a fellow student.

But then I felt something I knew. Someone watching me. I knew because they weren't even trying to hide their presence in the slightest. Normally someone might not notice. But not given what I had already trained in.

After trying to lose them for a bit I couldn't quite get rid of them. Seemed like they were pretty insistent on watching me. I guess I should at least confront them. So I began walking at a more casual pace. That was until I headed towards the nearest patch of trees.

Then I slowed my breathing and cleared my mind. Hiding behind one of the trees. Immediately I could tell they were frantic and annoyed. And bloodlust. Obviously whoever this person was hadn't even been taught how to properly keep calm.

But still. I could finally hear wing beats. Luckily from my time working with Esdeath I knew it because of a certain blond with wings.

I wonder how quietly I could summon Incursio's key? Hitting a target that was flying would be annoying without them noticing. But possible thanks to the trees.

So I slowly took a breath before I opened my eyes. I'm certain that I could use Incursio. Sadly I couldn't quite yell it out like normal.

Envisioning the sword I held out my hand. Waiting a few moments before feeling my hand tighten around the familiar grip of my sword.

???: "So you know how to use your sacred gear? Now that is surprising." I heard a voice say.

Wait... They could sense me just summoning Incursio? Or was it a bluff? Should I bet on it?

But then I heard the wood behind me shatter. Luckily I ducked down quickly and rolled out of the way. Of course, glancing back to see what weapon they had.

A glowing spear of some sort. I see.

So I took my stance and looked at my opponent. Some sort of woman in a red suit? And she indeed have two wings.

Pitch black and feathered.

???: "You dodged that? Then I suppose that sacred gear helps you detect people. It could be quite useful." She said as she summoned another spear.

But I looked into her eyes to try and see where she was aiming. But instead, I saw something I knew. A feeling of superiority without ever actually struggling.

She threw the spear but I just slashed it in half and then dashed forward. Instead of preparing to dodge instead, she just flew higher up.

But I focused all of my strength on my legs. Before launching myself and landing. But I only waited till my feet connected before jumping again.

Sadly for her, she had not jumped high enough. So I came flying at her slashing my sword only once. I didn't even have to look to know that I had finished her off.

I could tell by the strained gasp of shock before she fell to the ground. Of course, I landed easily with a roll before standing up.

That was surprisingly easy. Even with those spears, there was no special trick. Yes, it was a bit harder to slash into her than a normal person. But besides that, she had paid for underestimating me.

But still. I had to rush back to the kitchen. Some of the regulars would be coming by soon.

(Time Skip)

Luckily today had been a calm day. Sadly none of the members of Night raid had visited but the few regulars were nice today.

I was just unpacking some of the the vegetables. Luckily I was able to find some the very same day.

But then I heard the door open again. I couldn't help but hope that it was going to be one of my friends. But either way I had to serve them.

So I set the box down on the counter and walked out with a small smile. As it widened when I noticed a certain gluttonous red eyed girl.

Y/n: "Hey sorry. I was just restocking. What'll it be this time around?" I asked.

Akame: "I'll have the same as last time."

Y/n: "Of course. Just take a seat." I said with a nod.

I expected her to ask for that. After all I had made it almost specifically for her.

(Mini time skip)

I finally finished her dish before humming and walked out setting it on the table.

I did make her just a bit more then last time. I was going to have another shipment in a bit.

So I just stood behind the counter going through today profits. A bit lower then normal. It might be a bit tricky to keep things going. But I'd have to make do.

Akame: "Hey." She said raising her voice slightly.

Y/n: "Yes? Do you need more?" I asked turning towards her.

Akame: "How long... Have you known about your sacred gear?" She asked.

Causing me to freeze. That's what the fallen had called my imperial arms. So was that what they were called in this world?

But still that meant that they watched me fight against the fallen. That was the only time I summoned Incursio. I had to be very careful going on...
