!OLD! Bakugo X reader: the new student

Chapter Six: The field trip

Y/N sat in their bed shocked at their realization. Usually Y/N only really fell in love with fictional characters. This was one of their first real crushes. Even when they did have actual crushes they were never brave enough to ask anyone out, so this was just another problem. THIS WILL BE THE ONE CRUSH I WILL ASK OUT! They thought as they looked at the time. Oh...it's 1:30 in the morning I think I might try to sleep... Y/N got into a comfortable sleeping position and began to drift off to sleep.
   In the morning, Y/N got up and noticed it was 7:46 A.M. Oh crap 15 minutes till class. Y/N thought as they rushed to get ready. They got ready quickly and ran out the door of the common area and to class. They walked into class being the last one there. Y/N took their usual seat and sat down.
   Aizawa walked up in front of the class.
   "You will be going on a field trip tomorrow, I would recommend packing some things since we will be staying overnight." Aizawa yawned."Today will be a free period, we'll be leaving at 8:30 tomorrow. You don't need to bring your uniform or hero costumes.
   I'm doing this since Nezu thinks you need a break from training and school."
The class nodded as Aizawa went back into his sleeping bag. Mina walked over to Y/N.
   "So whatcha up to Y/N?" Mina asked.
   "Not much." Y/N answered.
   "I heard you and Bakugo hid together during the villain attack." Mina said with a slightly visible smile on her face.
   Y/N blushed remembering that happened and at the mention of the ash blondes name."Y-yeah we did."
   Mina gave Y/N an excited look." I think I know what's happening!" Mina exclaimed."Meet me in my dorm later after school!"
Oh here we go!... Y/N thought dreading how obvious their crush on Katsuki Bakugo was. Mina and Y/N talked for the rest of the class period. Y/N had caught Bakugo staring at them a few times but brushed it off.
   They had gone through their normal day, minus the training. Once they had gotten back to the dorms they walked straight to theirs and got out a duffel bag.
   They began packing simple things like a toothbrush, hairbrush, deodorant, etc. They began packing cloths. Then things that they didn't need but brought anyway. I think it's kinda funny that Mr.Aizawa never told us where we were going... they thought as they packed the last of their things.
Y/N sighed as they fell onto their bed. They picked up their phone and looked at the time. It's only 4:00 P.M. I guess I could tell Mina I'm done packing. They went to their messaging app and texted Mina.
A few minutes after Y/N texted Mina they heard a knock on their door. They opened it to see Mina standing in the doorway.
"So." Mina said with a large grin on her face." I think I know what's going on between you and Bakugo!"
"Haha, yeah..." Y/N said awkwardly.
"YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM!" Mina was smile was even wider, which frankly Y/N didn't think was possible. "To be honest I never thought anyone would have a crush on him, when I first met him or even now, BUT YOU FINALLY HAVE PROVEN ME WRONG!"
"Yeaaah." Y/N was blushing of embarrassment. "Please don't go around telling everyone."
   "Your secret is safe with me!" Mina promised "So do you plan on asking him out anytime soon?"
   "Not really but I would kind of like to." Y/N told Mina.
   "Let's think of some simple ways hmm." Mina sat there thinking."Wait, we're having that field trip you could ask him out then!"
   "Yeah but one problem." Y/N announced.
   "What is the problem?" Mina asked.
   "We have no idea where we are going, it could be somewhere where that would work or it could be be something where that would definitely not be able to happen." Y\N sighed."I truly have no idea how I will at least tell him I like him."
   "We'll just have to wait and see." Mina said as she looked at the time."It's getting kind of late I'm gonna head to my dorm, but thanks for telling me!"
   Mina walked back to their dorm as Y/N lied back in their bed. They looked at the time and realized it was about 11:30 P.M. ,and decided to sleep since they had quite the day.
   When they woke up it was 7:06 A.M. and they decided to start getting ready. They quickly chose an outfit and put it on.
   It was only about 7:45 when they finished getting ready, so they decided to just kinda hang out for a few minutes.
   When it hit 8:15 they decided to go down into the common room with their classmates.
   "Hey Y/N!" Mina called form the couch, waving.
   "Hey Mina." Y/N called back, they had taken their bag with them, basically the entire room had bags scattered around it.
When it was time to leave the class all crowded onto the bus and Y/N decided to sit with the Bakusquad, specifically beside Mina. Every time Y/N would even look in the direction of Bakugo, Mina would start whispering to them to ask him out. Which might I add Y/N thought was annoying.
The trip was about an hour and a half, but when they got there they stopped at what looked to be a hotel.
"Okay class." Aizawa said tiredly." This is the hotel you will be staying at, find a partner to stay with and go to your hotel room."
Mina immediately grabbed Y/N's arm, so Y/N just went with Mina.
