Jack Mathew you are in my head. I think about you all the time. I went to sleep tonight thinking about you, but that didn't stop the nightmares from coming. My mom comes rushing into my room as usual, with a flashlight in hand and brings me into a safe hug.

"This has to stop." she says, stroking my hair. I sob into her arms, trying to stay positive. Every night I have a new hope that the nightmares will go away, that I can sleep peacefully again, but that hasn't happened yet.

The next day at school was better than usual. Probably because I spent most of my time in class thinking about Jack, but also because I didn't get as much homework as I expected. After the bell rings, I run out to Jane and I's meeting spot, the side of the school. The air is musty and humid, but I don't let anything bring me out of my good mood. She was already there, ready for me to tell her all about yesterday. That's how Jane is, wanting to know all the juicy details.

"So....how did it go?!" She squills excitedly.

"Umm.....he took me to a ponde." I say trying to sound board.

"Did anything happen?!" she continues,

"Nothing special, we just sat and talked. Pretty boring." I say, trying to hide my smile.

"Oh. Well, sorry." She replies, disappointed.

"It's OK. I will be at the greenhouse, so can you come and meet me there?" I ask her. She smiles and replies.

"OK Northy! Will Jake be there?!" she just won't give up.

"Maybe." I say secretively,

"Also, Jane, is something going on with you and Ryan?" I ask her, worried.

"Oh, that, don't worry about it, we can talk later." she says, faking a smile.

"OK, love you!" I say, walking over to my car and hopping in. I wave to her one last time before driving off to the greenhouse, excited to see Jack again.

As I pull up to the greenhouse, I see Jack's car sitting in the parking lot, and smile immediately. I quickly park, and climb out of my car, rushing inside. I skip over to the room we always work in and peek just around the corner. There he is, trimming the stems of the roses. He looks so concentrated and innocent. He finally looks up at me, and smiles.

"I was wondering when you were going to get here." he says, setting down the roses and crossing his arms.

"Oh really?" I say smiling as well. I hurry over to him and he softly kisses me on the cheek, and I kiss him back on his nose. We both go back to cutting the flower stems in silence. Not a weird silence, a comforting one. After sitting there for about 3 minutes, Jack spoke again,

"I know it's only been a day, but I have missed you North." he says, looking at me,

"Me too." I say smiling at him. We both drop the flowers on the table, and intertwine our fingers together. My small hand seems to fit perfectly in his. He looks down to my lips, and back up into my eyes asking permission. I press my lips against his, grabbing the back of his neck as he grabs my waist. Have you ever missed someone so much that when you see them again, your life feels complete? That's what I feel right now. Jack has made his way into my mind, making no room for anything else. Which is probably why I forgot that I asked Jane to meet me here. I hear footsteps running over to us, but everything feels like a blur, so I don't look over, and I don't stop kissing him. I hear someone gasp, and immediately come back to my senses, my eyes darting over to the door. There, standing at the entrance of the room, was Jane, jaw dropped, eyes wide.

"Oh. My. Gosh." she says, a look of shock on her face. I step away from Jack, and cross my arms behind my back.

"Is that...." she starts, and I already know what she is about to do. I smile nervously and tilt my head at her.
