this is not romanticizing death this is just a random idea that popped in my head

tsukishima x yamaguchi story

yamaguchi had passed away 5 years ago, he was always bored and never had anything to do. until one day he  decided to pretend he was still alive, he would find people the same age as him and follow their daily routines with them and watch over them while they were at school, doing homework, you get the point. he would go from person to person very often because he would get bored of one persons routine. he's been doing this for about 3 years, no one could see nor hear him so he never had anything to worry about, right? well at least that's what he thought. one day yamaguchi found a boy named tsukishima kei, he decided to pick up on his routine as per usual. everything went smooth until one day tsukishima let out a scream of fear. he saw.. a ghost? no no. it can't be. there he was, sitting right next to tsukishima while he was doing homework. tsukishima couldnt believe it. thousands of questions crossed his mind and he couldn't think straight. "who are you? why are you transparent? are you even real? where did you come from?!" tsukishima let out without giving yamaguchi a chance to speak. "woah calm down!" yamaguchi spoke trying to calm tsukishima. "my name is yamaguchi, i died 5 years ago and i watch over people. i've been doing this for about 3 years and no one has ever been able to see or hear me.. i'm so confused, what happened.." yamaguchi had said just as confused as the blonde haired boy. "well yamaguchi if you don't mind i'm going to finish my homework, you can stay if you want.." tsukishima spoke going back to his work. it had been 4 months since tsukishima had discovered yamaguchi and boy did they become super close. one day tsukishima asked, "if you don't mind me asking, where is your grave?" "follow me!" yamaguchi spoke proudly. they arrived at a grave yard where yamaguchi had lead the boy to his grave in graved on the stone sticking out of the ground quoted "yamaguchi tadashi." tsukishima then asked "your name is tadashi?" "yeah you can call me that if you want but if not it's okay!" yamaguchi had spoken. "sure, also you can call me kei."  later in this friendship they both fell in love knowing it was impossible for them to be in with each other. they visited yamaguchi grave together often, until one day tsukishima started a conversation on the topic of love. "do you believe in love tadashi?" kei asked genuinely wanting an answer. "yeah, i actually fell in love with someone recently but it will never work so i should probably start trying to loose feelings for him" the other boy answered sadly knowing he was in love with tsukishima. "oh, um yeah i actually fell in love with someone too but it's impossible for us to be together.." kei spoke also knowing he was in love with tadashi. "who are you in love with.." they spoke at the same time thinking they lost their chances with each other. "well whenever i watch over people i usually move onto the next person within a week. but i've stayed with you for over 4 months, i really fell for you and i cant stop thinking about you, but it's impossible for us to be together because you're alive and i'm.. dead." tadashi spoke on the urge of tears. kei couldn't believe what he heard. the boy he was in love with loves him too? it was like a dream come true... except, yamaguchi. he wasn't alive and it would be impossible for them to have a relationship. they can't even come in physical contact, how would a relationship even work?..  it broke both of them knowing they couldn't be together unless kei had made a wise decision. a week later tsukishima decided he couldn't take this anymore, he needed to hold his soulmate, the person who meant everything to him, the boy who saved him in so many ways, the one he needed. yamaguchi was taking a nap until he woke up to an empty house. tsukishima was no where to be found. he checked everywhere the duo usually hangs out until he got to the last destination, tadashi's grave. when he arrived he saw kei crying in front of his grave stone with a bottle of pills like he was ready to take his life. "KEI NO!" tadashi yelled while taking the bottle from his hand only to see it was.. empty. yamaguchi held his corpse as his warmth faded from tsukishima's body. moments later the ghost of tsukishima arised from the boy's cold dead body. tears fell from yamaguchi's eyes while he asked "why.. why did you'd do it?.." "i wanted to be with the person i love most. that person is you tadashi. i couldn't deal with not being able to hold you and not being able to hold your hand, not being able to give you a kiss, not being able to call you mine." he spoke up, tears rolling down the side of his face. yamaguchi walks over to him and wipes tsukishima's tears with his thumbs then cupping his face to bring him in for a kiss. it was passionate but soft and delicate. after that they spent everyday together in the after life, happy as ever and always by each other's side. they never split up. it was at this moment kei realized, "all that's left is the ghost of us."
