War, Mark - Yin, Vee

Mark has released his grip from War for a while now, but they haven't stopped walking. War looked back for a second, they've walked far enough from Vee and Yin.

"Nong, what do you want to talk about?", War asked and Mark stopped walking "We're far enough from those two giants so, let's sit and talk"

The atmosphere around them were great, well, night time waking along the beach when no one's around are great. Especially when you want to talk privately.

"P'War", Mark turned to War, "are you okay?"

"Huh? Why am I not okay?", War asked confused.

"What P'Yin said earlier", Mark took one of War's hand, "P'War, You like P'Yin right?"

War stared at Mark with his mouth agape. He's forgotten that Mark is quite sharp reading someone's emotion, well apart from Vee. He knew this, he had lived as Mark in his Love Mechanics world. War didn't know if he had to feel sad, angry or happy that someone finally able to tell that he has a huge crush on Yin.

"Am I that obvious?", War accepted his fate, sitting down on the sand. Mark followed him.

"Well, I can tell, P'Vee probably can too, it's just P'Yin", Mark said.

"Well, it hurts", War solemnly said. It hurts but there is nothing that War can do about it.

Mark stared at War, waiting for the oldest to continue. His eyes were sad and it made Mark sad too.

"I've been harboring this feeling for him for who knows how long, everyday it's getting harder to hide it. We're together almost all the time and I can't just avoid him. It'll make him sad", War hugged his knees close.

"Have you ever thought of confessing phi?", Mark asked.

"Confess? No nong, I'm afraid", War almost whisper.

"Afraid of what?"

"Afraid that I'll lose him for good. That's if it's all that'll happen but we're shipped couple, our works are connected, so if things become awkward between us, it'll affect others who work for us too. There are just too many things that I can't just ignore", War sighed.

Mark didn't know that being a public figures would be this complicated. He kinda get what War was implying and he could only wonder how hard it would be. It must be killing him slowly, to be affectionate with the person that he likes but never really can be his.

"What if P'Yin also liked you?", Mark asked.

"You heard him yourself earlier"

Mark couldn't retaliate to that. He suddenly had the urge to punch Yin but then it's not really his fault. He had no idea about War's true feeling. Mark could only stared at War, seeing how conflicted he is and offer a little bit comfort by caressing his back.

"I'm gonna be fine don't worry", War said while smiling at Mark "At least the other version of me in another universe is living his dream being with someone he loves".

Mark gives his dimpled smile to War and War felt a little better. Yeah, at least Mark is getting his happy love life now and he hopes it stays that way until forever.

"Hey phi, when do you think they're gonna go back?", Vee asked from where he sit.

It's been almost 30 minutes since Mark pulled War to talk and until now there was still no sign of them coming back.

"P'Yin!", Vee was getting annoyed not getting any answer from Yin who seemed to be thinking about something.

"Oh! Sorry, what were you saying?", Yin finally turned to Vee who only shook his head.

"Never mind phi, I'll just wait for them", Vee sighed.

"Hey", Yin started, "What do you think they're currently talking about?"

"Do you wanna hear my honest answer? Or an answer that you wanna hear?", Vee looked at Yin.

"What does an answer that I wanna hear even mean?", Yin scoffed.

"Now, they're probably gossiping about us and Mark wanted some advice from P'War because he's the oldest among us"

Yin was looking at Vee, feeling absolutely lost and confused. That sounded believable and could be true but why does it counted as the answer that Yin wanted to hear?

"Then....what's your honest answer?", Yin reluctantly asked.

"Phi are you really that oblivious?", Vee looked at Yin annoyed, "Before I answer let me ask you this about P'War"

"Huh? Why do you ask? Don't tell me you wanna trade your boyfriend with him, I'm gonna punch you for real if you made him cry again! Gosh, I hate seeing him cry because he's got P'War's face, it's heartbreaking for me too", Yin ranted.

"Don't worry I won't trade my boyfriend gosh, that's what I'm talking about phi, you hate seeing P'War sad right?"

Yin nodded.

"You hate the thought of someone taking P'War away from you"

Another nod.

"Let's try another, have you ever felt annoyed when P'War ignored you?"

Another nod.

"Will you do everything to earn his forgiveness if he's ever be mad at you?"

Another, slow nod.

"Now, what if someday P'War said that he wanted to move out of the dorm to live with his boyfriend?"

This last question got Yin thinking for quite some time. He never thought about that before. P'War had been a constant presence in Yin's life. He considers him as more than just his senior or a mere phi. He's Yin's pillar, advisor, best friend and life partner. Yin never thought about P'War living separately with him. What would he do if P'War had a boyfriend? Well, he's gonna support him of course and he'd be happy if P'War is happy, even if his boyfriend wasn't him.

*sting*

"Eh?"

What was that? Why does it sting when he thought about P'War with other guy who's not him? P'War smiling because of his special person who's not him? Why does it feel heavy thinking about getting less of P'War's attention after he found his other half?

"Can't answer the last one?", Vee's voice pulled him out of his thought.

"I-", Yin really couldn't explain how he might feel to Vee, how do he even explain his frustration just by thinking about it to Vee?

"It stings doesn't it? When you imagine P'War with others?", Vee studied Yin's expression and then he smiled.

"You hate seeing him sad, you don't like it when his attention isn't fully yours nor when he ignore you and you will do anything to get his forgiveness. Not to mention it pains you just thinking about P'War having a boyfriend who isn't you. It's obvious how you feel about P'War"

Yin's thinking about Vee's explanation and slowly connecting the dots. Does he like War after all?

"Do you really think I like him?", Yin asked

"I don't think you like him phi, I know you like him", Vee said while looking at the vast ocean.

It's quite before Vee finally said his honest answer about what Mark and War are probably talking about.

"I think my boyfriend pulled P'War away after you said 'It's weird because we're not actual lovers like you two'", Vee mimicked Yin's tone.

"He might be a little hurt by that because he likes you, P'War likes you"
