"Alright", the stylish lady said, stepping aside to let War see his reflection in the mirror.
Today's make-up didn't take too long because the theme is quite simple. Plus, they'll be sweaty playing under the sun on the beach later anyway. Regardless, War liked the way he looked—just right, not overboard, and not too simple either.
"Oh, so handsome", Yin teased from where he sat in the back.
War could see his reflection in the mirror. Yin had done his makeup before War and was playing on his phone. He wore a white shirt and white short pants, which perfectly hugged his thighs. War always likes seeing Yin wearing a white shirt. War thought he looked handsome too, but he wouldn't say it out loud.
"Well, of course, I'm handsome", War fired back.
"I regret complimenting you", Yin said, but he still had a smile on his face.
Two rising actors, Yin and War, were currently in Pattaya to shoot their program WxY. The shipped couple had been up since dawn so they could catch the sun rising for the morning segment.
The morning segment was done in a flash. It was cute and playful, and War actually wanted to stay in bed with Yin, but they're here in Pattaya for work, not vacation. After shooting the flirty bathroom session, they're now off to the beach after changing into matching orange and white outfits. War thought they looked cute together, but again, War could only think about it. He'll never have the courage to tell Yin that.
It's especially hard to hold back when they're together almost 24/7. Apart from being shipped together since they played a couple in a series together, they also shared a dorm. Living under one roof with someone you have a crush on isn't all that fun.
War couldn't remember since when he started to see the younger as something more than just a nong, but it probably has been a while. They've shared too many laughs, too many tears, and too many emotional moments for War to feel so attached both physically and emotionally to Yin. Yin isn't only a mere nong to War now; he's his closest friend, his phi, his pillar, and the person most precious to him.
The program shooting went exceptionally well today, as they got to play in the sand with some of the staffs too. By the time it's done, both Yin and War's previously clean clothes are covered with sand. They were both a little bit tired, but they still have to shoot at the pool and the beach dinner.
After the whole schedule was done. The staffs let Yin and War by themselves to finish their dinner. The atmosphere was ridiculously romantic—well, that's also thanks to the staff building up the dinner set like they were on a honey moon dinner. Holding his smile to himself, War thought about how fate really loves to play with his heart like this.
"It feels like we're on a honey moon today, if we took the staffs out, we might as well be", Yin said without taking his eyes away from his favorite dish.
War choked on his water as soon as Yin stopped talking.
"Wuih Phi, slow down", Yin grabbed some tissues and gave them to War, who said his thanks.
"Well, it's because you said those things, dammit Yin!", War cursed inside his head.
"Are you okay, Phi?", Yin asked, worry clear in his voice.
"Don't ask me with that kind of tone", War said in his head, but he said "I'm fine" instead.
Yin stared at War a little longer with a worried look, and War would appreciate it if he wasn't slowly getting flustered and feeling like his heart would come out of his chest.
"I'm fine, really, let's just eat our dinner", War said.
This time Yin nodded, and they continued to eat their dinner while talking about anything and everything. It's something that both of them are used to. The media often asks how they feel toward each other, and every time they answer that they love each other more than their fans think, and because of that, they can talk to each other about anything. That's how much they trusted each other.
This is something that War truthfully feels towards Yin, and War's pretty sure Yin's also sincere with his answer. But War didn't think that their length of sincerity matched since War started seeing Yin as something more than just a partner.
The night's getting late, and both Yin and War are still talking at their dinner table. The plates of dishes have already been cleared up and replaced with a glass of booze. P'Aun, their manager, had given them permission to stay up as long as they wanted, as that was their last day of shooting and they'd had one day off in Pattaya before they had to go back to Bangkok.
"Wait, phi", Yin suddenly said, his face a little bit red from the alcohol he consumed.
"What?"
"Where's your bracelet?"
War instantly touched his wrist where his bracelet should be, but it wasn't there.
"I didn't take it off, oh no", War freaked out. How can he not? That's the bracelet that Yin got him. The matching bracelet that paired with Yin's
"Maybe it was lost in the sand when we played the game earlier, when's the last time you felt it in your wrist?", Yin touched War's wrist, sensing that the older man went into panic.
"This morning, when we walked to the beach to play a game", War said.
"Let's look for it for a bit on the sand, and if we can't find it there, we'll try another place, and if we still can't find it, we'll look for it again next morning, yeah?", Yin stood up. "Let's use the flashlight on our phone."
War can only nod, and both made their way to the spot where they played earlier. The dark beach didn't make it easier either to look for a small golden bracelet. War already felt hopeless. How are they supposed to find anything in this darkness?
"Phi, you look over there, I'm going to look over here, okay?", Yin said while pointing an area a little bit further.
War nodded, and both boys began looking for the bracelet. Looking for something in the sand is hard enough, but the darkness made it harder. After 30 minutes of searching, War started thinking of giving up for the night.
"Uhm, excuse me? Do you guys need help finding something?", someone approached them. War felt so strangely familiar with the voice that he felt goosebumps rising on the back of his neck.
"Yeah, I lost my brace- huh?", War looked up, only to be halted mid-sentence by what his eyes were seeing.
War shifted his eyes to another taller man, who approached them and got even more surprised.
"Phi War, I-...huh?", War could feel Yin stop in his tracks. He obviously had also seen what he was seeing.
"No way...", Yin whispered, feeling bewildered.
"H-how, Wh-who are you?", The one who looked exactly like War said he was bewildered.
Yin then strutted towards War, feeling the need to be beside him as he got a better look at the two. They're real, and they looked exactly like him and War.
"What's happening?!"
