Tiredfully, Aanvi sat on the sofa placed in a corner and heaved a huge wavered breath. Opening her sandals she massaged her foot gently.

"Here."Aditya said, giving his sister a glass of cold drink and sat beside her. She gave him a thankful smile taking a sip from it.

"Tired?" He asked, looking around, making her nod as she jutted her lower lips out.

"There is no such difference between you and Aarush." Chuckling he said, taking a sip from his glass of juice.

"When will we leave?" Leaning her head on his left shoulder, she crossed her palms around his arms, closing her eyes.

"It's almost ending. You ate?" He asked her to which she bit the inside of her cheeks as she sheepishly smiled at him.

"You are so careless Aaru." He said in a scolding manner as he stood up and pulled her along with him.

"I am tired bhai." She said making a crying face only to get a glare in return.

Taking a plate, Aditya filled it with all the delicacies and pulled a chair making her sit on it. Sitting beside her, he kept the plate in front of her as she started eating the food.

Though Aditya teased her to no end, he had always been the best brother she could ask for. He was always careful when it came to her health as she falls sick easily.

"Dadi." Ishaan whispered, opening his eyes as he saw his grandmother raking her hands through his hairs. Smiling lazily at her, he stretched his arms.

Taking her hands, he left a loud peck over it and smiled when she sat beside him.

"What do you think about Ishu?" Gently caressing his face, she asked. He understood what she was trying to say and nodded with a smile.

"I don't have any problem Dadi. But I am worried about how the girl will adjust in our family?" He said, giving her a helpless look.

Ishaan had chosen Architect over family business which made all the pressure to go on his cousin brother's head. This created a rift between his father and him. Though his Chachu had never made an issue out of it but his Chachi never failed to show this off. He sometimes wanted to just push himself away from family but then everyone's love never made him do this.

"There are issues in all the families. It's nothing new. Relationships are all about love, respect, care and trust. We all need to compromise a little to make it work. Don't worry about your family. It is you with whom she has to spend her whole life." She explained in a soft voice. After thoroughly understanding her words, he nodded in affirmation.

"Don't ever try to be a controlling person, Ishaan. Give her privacy and freedom. If she takes a step towards you, then appreciate her advances. We can clap with two hands. The relationship between husband and wife is never perfect. You have to work on it. If it is strong then it is delicate as well. Give the relationship priority and never let a third person speak between you both." She said to which he nodded.

"I feel like I am getting married today only." He said chuckling, passing his hands through his morning hair making them messy. His grandmother glared at him playfully, making him burst out laughing.

"I won't ever disappoint you Dadi." He said gaining control over himself in a serious voice making the elder lady give him a smile.

"It's not about me. You shouldn't disappoint yourself." Words rolled off her lips effortlessly as she gently massaged his hair as he kept his head on her lap.

"Priya was suggesting a proposal for you. I liked it." She said, making him nod. Priya was his elder sister by 2 years who was happily married along with a newborn daughter.

"She is the daughter of famous Neurosurgeon, Harsh Goenka and an event planner by profession." She said while he listened to her carefully.

"Before processing anything I want to meet her in person, Dadi. Things will only progress if I like her. Okay?" He asked, flipping his palms under his cheeks and raised an eyebrow at her, making Older lady shake her head in disbelief but then she nodded much to his relief.

"Good morning Mumma." Yawning, Aanvi said only to get a smack in return.

"You have still not taken shower." Her mother said frowning looking at the disheveled state of her daughter. She was wearing a smile tank top and silk shorts with her hairs tied in an improper bun.

"Mumma." She winced while taking the saucepan as she started preparing coffee for herself.

"Coffee is not good for your health and teeth." Ankita, her mother said, making her roll her eyes.

"Don't become a dentist right now." Aanvi said and poured the milk in the saucepan.

She belonged to a family full of doctors. Her mother is a dentist and her father is a neurosurgeon. Her brother is a nephrologist while her sister-in-law is a gynecologist. She is the odd one out of them but she was always thankful to them for not forcing anything on her and letting her choose whatever she wanted.

"Meera was telling me that one of her friends suggested a proposal for you." Her mother said taking out cookies making Aanvi gulp. Even though she agreed for marriage, a part of her is still reluctant over this.

"He is her brother owning an architect firm. Your father liked the proposal but there is no force from our side Aanvi. If you will agree, then only we will take the talks forward." With maturity in her voice, Ankita said, making Aanvi frown at her last words.

"I am not going to be presented like a show piece carrying a tray for sure mom. I hate it when people take out faults in girls like they are picking out rocks from rice. If they commented a single line on how I look Or something, I swear I will kill them. But before anything else, I want to meet the man. If he is that typical chauvinist kind of man then I am out." She said, making Ankita smile. She felt proud that she had raised a strong lady as her daughter who won't take any nonsense from anyone.

"I will talk to Meera about making you meet him." Ankita caressed her hair and left leaving Aanvi pondering over her decision.

"Good morning Ishaan." Aditi wished coming inside Ishaan's cabin who nodded at her gesturing her to sit.

"I am sorry that I couldn't come yesterday. I was stuck in something important." She said, giving him an apologetic look.

"It's fine Aditi but make sure this won't be repeated. I don't prefer things getting late." He said with a gentle smile.

"I will make sure." She said and passed him the laptop. He went through the designs and nodded at her as she explained all the interiors to him.

"It's absolutely fantastic." He said, making her smile.

"Thankyou so much." She replied cheerfully as she left his cabin while he got busy in his work.
