"Something's coming, something hungry for blood. A shadow grows on the wall behind you." Mike narrated.
We all listened, carefully.
"It.....is almost here." Mike continued
"What is it?" Will asked
"What if it's the Demogorgon?" I asked, Dustin eyes widen "Oh Jesus we're so screwed if it's the Demogorgon." Dustin said.
"It's not the Demogorgon." Lucas said
"I swear if it's the Demogorgon-"
"I'm positive it's not the Demogorgon" Lucas cuts me off.
I give him a look and he gave me a 'I'm positive' look.
"Sure" I say sarcastically
"An army of Troglodytes charge into the chambers!" Mike exclaimed
"Troglodytes?" Dustin scoffed
Lucas threw his arms in the air "told ya" Lucas teases.
"Whatever" I say and give him a playful glare.
Some of us giggled and some even snorted.
"Wait a minute, did you hear that? That sound. Boom...boom......BOOM" Mike yells, banging his hands on the table making us flinch.
"That didn't come from the Troglodytes. No, that... that came from something else...." he slams down a figurine on the board "The Demogorgon!" Mike announced. We all groaned.
"Oh we're in deep shit" Dustin said annoyed as he flails one of his arms around. "Will your action!" Mike yelled.
"I-I don't know!" Will stammered
"Fireball him!" Lucas shouts
"I'd have to roll a thirteen or higher!" Will reasoned
"Too risky, cast protection spell." Dustin told Will.
"Don't be a pussy and fireball him!" Lucas yelled
"Cast protection." Dustin argued
"The Demogorgan is tired of your silly human bickering! It stomps towards you, BOOM" Mike yelled
"FIREBALL HIM!" Lucas yelled
"CAST PROTECTION!" Dustin argued again.
"Let Will think!" I argued back
"ANOTHER STOMP, BOOM!" Mike yelled
"FIREBALL"
"CAST PROTECTION"
I rolled my eyes as Lucas and Dustin continued to argue.
"HE ROARS IN ANGER" Mike yelled
Will got the dice while Mike was still yelling.
"FIREBALL" Will shouted and rolled the dice which rolled off the table and landed on the floor somewhere.
"oh shit." I say
We quickly stood up and looked for the die.
"Where'd it go?" Lucas asked
