Masquerade

-Chapter 7-

  "Woah, woah, WOAH! Hold up! So you're telling me you met someone?!" Sam asks, shocked. I nod with a slight blush. The three of us are sat at the couch, the ending credits of the movie playing in the background.

  "Where?! When?! HOW?!?" Sam goes on, completely dumbfounded by the situation.

  "At 'Eve's Garden', after we got separated, I ended up getting lost in the hallways and I entered some room, and that's when I ran into her...well more like tripped and fell on my face when I realized I probably walked into some place I wasn't supposed to be in." I slightly laugh in embarrassment, looking back on my actions.

  "Some room? I wonder if she is one of the Mistresses that works there?." Leo questioned, his arms gently holding Sam by the waist.

  "There's Doms that work there?" I question back, intrigued by his notion.

  "Yeah, they have a group of elite Doms and Dominatrix's that you can book sessions with there, it's the dungeon's biggest source of income. I hear the big one's even get their own private dungeons. Most of them take on the role of DMs at the large public parties since they can't afford to play because they're in high demand, but they'll do these crazy elaborate scenes at special events." He explained.

  "Do you think she's one of them, Aiden?" Sam asks. I sink into the cushion of the couch, pulling my knees up to my chest.

  "I'm not sure, maybe" I responded. I mean there WAS a whole ass portrait of her in the room so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibilities.

   "Wow dude, I mean if she is, that's insane!" Sam goes on. "But aren't pro BDSM sessions expensive? You can't afford that."

  "And professional Dominatrix's RARELY ever take on personal submissives, it'll decrease their business" Leo adds on.

  "I know..." I say, discouraged. I look down at my knees, knowing what they're saying is true. I know better than to get my hopes up.

  "But hey! Look on the bright side! You met someone in the community so that's at least one step closer to finding a Dom, maybe she can even introduce you to some people!" Sam said, sensing my disappointment. I give him a weak smile.

  "I guess you're right, and I got a scene name now too so" Sam looks at me confused.

  "You do? Since when?" He asks.

  "It's Kajira...she gave it to me" I explained. This caused Sam and Leo to look at each other, both perplexed. It's as if they're having a conversation without speaking.

  "What's wrong?" I asked, wanting to be a part of the conversation. They turn back to me.

  "Sorry, it's just...she gave you a scene name?" Sam asked, seemingly baffled by the idea.

  "Yeah, is that a problem?" I wonder.

  "No it's just...unheard of. I mean a Dom giving a sub they have no D/s relation to a scene name?" Leo explains. Huh? I guess that thought never occurred to me...

  "Well I'm supposed to met up with her again this Wednesday...and I was planning on going." I informed. They look back at each other again briefly. Sam moves out of Leo's embrace to place a hand on my shoulder, looking me in the eyes.

  "Are you sure about this, Aiden? You did just meet her, and I don't like the thought of you going alone." Sam says with a strong look of concern. I placed my hand on top of his in reassurance.

  "I'll be fine, Sam. I'm 22 years old, I can handle myself." I say, but honestly, I'm not even fully convinced myself. I'm scared to fall under her spell again...I don't want something bad to happen like...

  "Hey, how about I tag along? I got work off that day and I can give you a ride there." Leo offers, and I give out a small sigh of relief. Sam relaxes a bit too, knowing I'll be in safe hands in case things go ugly.

  "Thanks Leo, I'd appreciate it" I respond smiling, which he returns.

  "Then it's settled!" Leo exclaims. Sam moves back over to him and gives him a peck on the cheek, softly whispering something into his ear. He smiles back at Sam lovingly.

  I'm so glad Sam found him, he's been so happy since they've gotten together. Technically they started out with a strictly D/s relationship, but it's blossomed into something more than what they were expecting. The main problem they face is that Leo is actually a switch, and his Dom Joseph and him have a very authoritarian-type dynamic that Leo heavily depends on. Apparently, Leo entered into the military at 18 and experienced some trauma, and his dynamic with Joseph is how he copes with his PTSD. And when it gets really bad, it actually holds him back from being dominant with Sam. I'm not fully sure what happened...but I know not to press. But I've noticed it's gotten worst as Sam and him blur the lines of their relationship. I just worry that Sam might get hurt...

  I remember the topic at hand, she's once again on my mind. I'm still thinking that night was all a dream, that she only existed inside my head. But the reality is that I am meeting up with her, a real dominatrix, on Wednesday...and the anticipation is killing me.
