chapter 0 - wedding crashers.

As onyx returned took off from her fight with the elites, she was starting to feel better knowing that she was going to her sister's wedding. She arrived at the spot and opened a portal before stepping through and showing up at the base of the citadel. Her first step was to run inside to meet her friends and family from dimension 1B. "did you miss me?" she asked walking in, feeling like she was on cloud 9. "ONYX!" obsidian yelled running over and hugging her twin. "I've missed you too. You would not believe what I had to go through to make it here." Onyx responded as she brushed the dirt from her hoodie. "Hey onyx. What do you think of my dress?" obsidian asked showing off her new dress, a very light shade of grey that reached her knees. "I never knew I could look so good in a dress." Onyx responded as the two had a chuckle over it.

"You do have your suit, right?" pearl asked showing off her dress. "Yeah, just give me a moment." She responded as her hoodie and pants became a full-on tux. "I never knew I looked good in a suit." Obsidian told onyx in a joking manner "come on then, let's go. I want to get this over and done with." Ruby responded trying to keep himself awake. "Come on, this is a big day for Gwen. The least you could do is try to make it look like you care." Onyx responded and ruby put on a nice, big and obviously fake smile. "Alright I get the hint. Let's go.2 onyx responded as she walked down with everybody else to the room with the dominated dimensional cracker and they all walked through. Upon arrival they were locked in the bunker under the house and onyx blasted the hatch off of its hinges. "Why does this place even exit under your house?" glass asked illuminating the dimly lit room. "I don't want to get into it, I want to have a good day." Onyx responded as she helped the two teams out.

"I'm just happy to finally see a wedding. You don't get to see much when in the army." Jasper explained as obsidian was walking close to her. "you two seem to be getting along well." Onyx notched as they continued to walk into town. "she's been helping me, in the same way that aqua helped you." Onyx had a smile and they arrived at the venue in the park. "Onyx." Gwen said as she ran over and gave her a hug. "Hey sis, it's been too long. How've you been?" "I'm getting married so I'm existed but also terrified." "don't worried you've been planning this since you where 11 and thought you'd be getting married to Olivia. You'll be fine." Onyx reassured Gwen and even offered to help her out with the last-minute preparations. As the best woman, it was her duty to help Gwen stay calm and to give her the rings. She had the rings in her pocket and had them locked up tight. After the ceremony, onyx was walking back to the house with everybody. After sending the rest of the team's home, she decided to spend a few nights in the house with the newlyweds and their housemate Charlie.

After everybody is sent home and onyx switched back to her regular hoodie, she noticed that her communicator had plenty of missed calls and texts. "I need to go." Onyx stated as she stood up. What's wrong?" Gwen asked. "I can't explain, but I will be back soon. It's just the job of an unofficial uni-guadian." "At what"? Charlie asked, although by the time she was gone. She arrived back in the town of heroes and found the school encased in a forcefield. Instead of trying to get rid of it she tried to get help, the only help she could get in this dimension. She ran over to the elites HQ where she is attacked and pinned down by the elites while stream stands over her. "What are you doing back here?" she asked. "I told you, I'd be back. What's that over the school?" she asked back. "Eather think's it's a good idea to capture you. I don't like that method but it worked apparently." "Yeah, because I came to save them. He's a mad man." Onyx tried to reason.

While stream was thinking of a response, pyrope made the ground hot and forced stream to move out of the way. "Move away from her. NOW!" pyrope demanded as he helped onyx to her feet. "Thanks for that, I came looking for help, but I guess I'm not going to find help here." She explained as she got ready run off again. "I'm going with you." Pyrope stated. "I can't do that to you. Your only 13." "And you started when you were 14." "I was cursed at 14 with a second personality stuck with me unless we both want to die." She told him and herself. Suddenly her hand stopped her and took pyropes hand. "Looks like I am taking you. Anybody else want to help me?" she asked and the elites gave in, including Ventus' daughter, Alison. "Are you Shure honey, this is going to be dangerous?" Ventus asked. "If I'm going to be a hero, I need to act like one. I'm helping." Ventus sighed and nodded. Terra pulled out a map of the school and explained where he could Eather could beheading and onyx's finger pointed to the room behind the principal's office. "Looks like he's here. That's where I'll go, you guys focus on getting everybody out of there." Onyx stated and they headed off for the school. She encased the forcefield in a grey glow and forced it apart. They all then stepped inside and she save the teachers and student's that weren't in the lunch room before she speeds into the security room.

"You know, this is ironic. We're in a security room, but you aren't secure." Eather said standing up and trying to encase onyx I am gravity hold. She was able to resist and she pulled her multitool off of her back and held it to Eather. "you're coming with me. "Am I. because I think you should retch the position your in." "what are you talking about?" she asked looking at the monitors and saw everybody escaping. "The best part of being the best hero in the city, you get access to everywhere you 'need' to go. This entire area is rigged with explosives. All I want is your powers." Onyx looked the back of her left hand and stated that it wasn't going to happen. "This is a Deadman's switch." He explained showing that he was barley holding on to the remote. "Your insane." "no, I just want to save my daughter and your powers are the perfect way to do so." Eather responded showing that his grip was slipping. Her hand was shaking and it moved on its own. "What are you doing? Stop." She asked the core moving he arm and when it the multitool turned to her. It presses a button relating to an unknown function and something shot at her. Something pierced her and she could feel the cores being dragged out of her.

The pain was enough to kill someone but she persevered, even if she let you a blood curdling scream and she fell to her hands and knees. Her skin returned to its normal, peachy colour and she was panting to try and gain some breath. "This is what people like you get. People who think they are above punishment." Eather stated as he punched onyx with a black hole punch and she was gone in an instant. When she woke up, she was in a black void, but in the distance, she could see the HQ of the elites and she started walking towards it.
