Hi! My name is (Y/N) (L/N), and I'm just a regular girl with a pretty calm life. Living here in Japan, in a cozy apartment, and attending online classes, my life isn't exactly what you'd call thrilling, but it's mine and I love it. I live alone. I do have parents, but they work abroad. Not to brag, but they're also quite wealthy. Their jobs have them constantly traveling, and while they always offer for me to come along, I choose to stay here. This place is my home, and it means everything to me.
The garden beside my house is my little sanctuary. The neighbors feel like extended family, always looking out for me. And every morning, I wake up to the sweet smell of flowers drifting through my window. There's a sense of peace and familiarity here that I just can't leave behind.
Of course, my mom didn't agree with me staying alone at first. She worried a lot, and for good reason. You see, I've had health issues since I was a child. My condition requires me to be careful and maintain a specific routine. But after much convincing—and a little help from my dad—she finally relented.
Part of the agreement is that I have to go for monthly check-ups to monitor my health and make sure everything is okay. I also have to stick to a healthy diet and get plenty of rest. It's not always easy, but I've learned to manage it.
To cover my daily needs, my parents send me a generous allowance every two weeks. It's more than enough for clothes, food, and even some extras. But I don't want to rely solely on their support. I want to contribute in my own way, so I started a babysitting service.
The whole neighborhood knows me because of this business. I've been taking care of the local kids for a while now, and even the little ones adore me. I think it's because I genuinely love spending time with them. There's something so fulfilling about watching them grow and learn.
Being a nanny is more than just a job to me. It's a passion. My dream is to one day open an orphanage and be there for kids who don't have anyone else. I want to create a place where they feel safe and loved, much like how I feel in my cozy apartment and friendly neighborhood.
My babysitting service has been doing well, bringing me closer to making that dream a reality. But I have another goal that's even more pressing right now: getting into Hope's Peak Academy.
Hope's Peak Academy is a prestigious school that promises to set its students up for life. It's renowned for its talented students and exceptional programs. It's the kind of place that could open so many doors for me, both personally and professionally.
Sometimes, though, I feel a bit overwhelmed by the thought of applying. I've heard so many stories about the incredibly talented people who go there—Ultimate Pianist, Gamer, Gambler, Yakuza, and even an Ultimate Lucky Student! Like, seriously..
But I remind myself that everyone has their own unique strengths. I might not have an obvious talent, but I have determination and a passion for helping others. That has to count for something, right?
So, I keep pushing forward, balancing my studies, my babysitting service, and my health. It's a lot to handle, but I believe in myself. I try to make the most of every day, cherishing the small moments of joy and peace.
Then, one day, everything changed. It started with a letter, an invitation that promised to turn my life upside down. I won't spoil the surprise, but let's just say it led to a series of events that I never saw coming.
