Just another time travel akuma - Part 2 [MariChat]

All eyes turned to the raven haired girl. Alya wiggling her eyebrows at her friend.

"Kagami, I -"

"Ok, you need to go into the closet for seven minutes. We'll come and get you when the time is up." Nino didn't need to explain the rules to Adrien. He was already on his feet, girlfriend falling on the floor in front of him, and his hand out offering for Marinette to take it.

"Ready M'Lady?"

Marinette's eyes widened. M'lady? Does that mean he knew? Marinette thought back to the recent events, remembering Chat Noir had been hit by the akuma. The akuma which sent the unwilling participant into the future.

Oh, no!

Marinette's eyes locked onto Adrien's as she placed her small delicate hand into his. Everything had changed and her confidence suddenly soared. He accepted it, he'd accepted her as a whole, just as she did him.

"Adrien, a word!" Kagami was suddenly next to the two heroes, pulling Marinette's hand out of Adrien's grasp.

Shaking his head to remove himself from his trance he nodded towards Kagami. He needed to speak to her first, there was no way he would be a cheater, that wasn't how he was brought up.

"Sure."

Adrien led Kagami into the bathroom, away from his friends' prying eyes. Closing the door, he braced himself for the verbal attack he was about to receive, only for it never to appear.

"I get it," Kagami said, calmly. "I've always seen the way you two act with each other, and she's perfect for you."

Adrien gasped. If you'd asked him what would happen, this would not have ever come to mind. She was accepting it. Kagami really was a good friend. While Adrien was trying to swallow flies, Kagami continued.

"Your father will never accept this relationship though. She will be seen below his social standing."

Adrien nodded, again lost for words. Who was this girl in front of him and what had she done to Kagami?

"I'll pretend to still be your girlfriend, I can be your alibi for seeing Marinette. You're both my best friends, I want you to be happy."

Adrien pounced on his now ex-girlfriend and wrapped her into a warm hug. After years of not having people care about him, Adrien was ecstatic to have such incredible love from his friends. Pulling away he noticed the small smile on Kagami's lips.

"See, I'm not always the ice queen. Now, it stays a secret. You can tell Marinette but that's it."

He laughed at her and placed a kiss on her cheek.

"Thank you, Kagami. Truly, thank you."

"Oh, and tell her to watch out. I will be on the sidelines, waiting for her to mess this up."

Of course there would be an added extra, this was Kagami after all. She was smart and resourceful. She wouldn't let Adrien go that easily. She nodded before heading out of the bathroom and collecting her bag.

"My mother has just called, I need to go home." She turned back to Adrien and kissed him on the cheek, keeping up appearances for their friends she told herself. Really, she just wanted her last chance to place a kiss against Adrien's skin. "I'll call you later," she told him. Placing her bag over her shoulder, she walked out of his room. Box of condoms remaining unopened in her bag.

"Ok, Mari, you ready?" Adrien dropped a wink to his partner in crime, it was answered with a smile as she walked towards him.

"We'll come and get you when your seven minutes are over, and don't forget, anything goes." Alya winked to Marinette, before shuffling close to her boyfriend. Marinette knew they had something planned. The question was what.
