Chapter 36: A Turn of Events

The match against Epsilon was about to start. However, some of the team members were still not all that convinced of Scotty playing with them. They were all discussing if it was smart and asked each other about their opinion. There were some that had some faith in him and others a bit less. Either way, they would soon find out with this match against Epsilon.

"Because we gave Cloister Divinity six minutes, we will give you guys three." The captain of Epsilon, named David, said.

"Three minutes?!" Everyone asked shocked.

"Three minutes is a really short period of time, you know?" Shawn said to him.

"It sure is, they must be really good and surely have a big confidence if they say something like that." Lily replied.

The game started and it turned out that they were actually really strong and even faster than Gamini Storm. At some point, Lily was giving the ball and despite that Kevin was blocked at first he managed to get out of that situation and ran with her towards the goal.

"ICE MISSILES!" They both said in unison. However, the hope that they had for this shot was as fast as gone as that it came. David could stop it without even a hissatsu technique.

"He stopped it just like that?" Kavin asked Lily. Though, Lily couldn't really reply to that and was just thinking about how he did that.

After the match of precisely three minutes, Epsilon had suddenly disappeared, but not before they could tell Raimon that they will play against them again in ten days. In the end, Scotty surprised everyone,  because he could stop a really powerful looking shot, even when it looked like it was more of an accident.

Right now, Raimon was back in the Inazuma Caravan going to the next location. The team was still talking about Scotty when Jack interrupted them.

"Uhm guys, I'm sorry to interrupt you but uh-" Jack said hesitated.

"What's going on jack?" Kevin asked when turning around. And right when he did that he noticed Scotty sitting there next to all the backpacks. "You can't be serious!"

"What?!" Everybody exclaimed.

"He is here?" Nathan asked.

"Hehehe" Scotty just laughed it all of.

After the coach had asked the coach of Divinity High if Scotty could stay. He already had pulled out some pranks to some of his new team members. Luckily, Celia was there to scolded him about it.

~I'm wondering how this will end up.~ Lily thought to herself.

After some time the coach got a text saying that Ray Dark had escaped and was making a new team. Hearing this made some of the team members really mad, especially Jude. They stopped by a supermarket where Mark saw a boy playing with a soccer ball. However, things didn't really go as planned and apparently he was part of Royal Academy Redux. He was sent there to take them to Ray Dark. 

They got sent to a bay but didn't see anything that could possibly be a school.

"Why did you sent us here? There is nothing to see?!" Kevin shouted at him.

"Be patient, it right over there." The boy replied. Right at that moment a submarine got out of the ocean and opened its doors with a staircase showing Ray Dark.

"Long time no see Evans, Roberts and Sharp." He told the three.

"I wish it was even longer." Lily mumbled.

"Unbelievable, what is your plan this time?!" Jude asked him angrily.

"Even if I would explain it you wouldn't understand. You don't understand what I try to achieve with the Royal Academy. If you hadn't fled away, you might have understood it. "

"I didn't run away! I just never wanted to see you again!" 

"Tell us Ray Dark, how well do you know Alius Academy?" Coach Lina asked him.

"Look at that, if it isn't Aquilina Schiller. If you mean by that that I use the same power as them, then you're right. Anyway, Jude, it's time to say hello to your old teammates." That was the last thing Ray Dark said before walking back inside. Jude went inside him immediately followed by Lily and Mark.

When they were on the field they saw David and Joe standing there. They explained to Jude why they had come back and they partly blamed Jude for leaving them. 

"But Jude did all of that to revenge, you guys." Mark tried to explain to them, but Jude interfered. He wanted to apologize and get those two out of the grip of Ray Dark what is totally understandable.

However, they started to hit him with the ball. Luckily at some point, Mark could catch it before it hit Jude. 

"We will show, you guys what real soccer is." Mark said to them as they were about to leave again.

"You will soon realize what it feels like to lose Evans. We still have our secret weapon." David told him.

"Don't tell him about that, that will take all the fun away." The boy, named Caleb, said to him.

~What in the world is going on? Is Mia a part of this too? What to do, what to do?~ Multiple questions were running through Lily's mind without finding a single answer.

"What now? Do you have any idea what this secret thing could be Jude?" She eventually asked him.

"Maybe, but I hope I'm wrong." 

"Either way, we have to make sure those guys come back and leave Ray Dark for good." Mark then said

"Yeah, but do you really think that a match between us and them could get them so far?" Lily asked him next.

"Well, if we let them show real soccer, our soccer, I'm sure that they will see the benefits of it again." He replied with an assuring smile.

"I really hope that you're right on this one." Jude mumbled.
