What Now?(Luke Hemmings Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

I rushed to the studio with Taylor. we practically ran through the doors. we found Cher sitting in the Rec Room with a ghost of a smile on her face.
Cher was kind of pretty. She has brunette hair with a little gray considering she is 43 years old. she has a slightly wrinkled face with faded gray eyes. SHES a very nice woman, I'm glad she's my manager, she's almost like a mother, always looking out for me.
"What happened?" I asked frantically
"The deadline for your songs was moved to next month instead of releasing them in three months" Cher answered.
"But that means I'll have to stay her overnight!"
I live in a safe neighborhood but there are some teenagers that live a few houses down that have parties almost every weekend. Whenever they have a party, they blare the music so loud, my living room table shakes. I'm surprised they aren't all deaf yet.
"You can stay here if you want"Cher offered"Take all the time you need,"
"Thanks, Cher" I said. it's not the first time I've had to stay here overnight.
Taylor offered to help but I know she has her own songs to work on so I politely refused. I hugged her before she left and got started on my songs and songs for One Direction, Cher Lloyd, Alli Simpson, Becky G, Lucy Hale, and the Vamps.
I don't write all of their songs, I just write a few of them and if they like them, they'll Ｅ but it from me and record it. they have their own songwriters, I'm just helping out.
I finished One Direction's "Night Changes", Cher Lloyd's "Oath", Alli Simpson's "Notice Me", Becky G's "Shower", the Vamps' "Somebody To You", and I'm currently working on Lucy Hale's. So far I'm doing okay.
I looked at my phone and realized it was midnight. After three hours I had finally finished the song and it was called "Run This Town". It went:
"Hold on cause I'm letting go, I'm gonna lasso your heart like a rodeo...
...I've got rings on my fingers and glitter in my hair, got a one way ticket and I just got here, I'm gonna run this town...
...I've got high heel stilettos and I'm kicking in doors, and kissing your ass and what my lipsticks for...
...I'm gonna run this town,run this town, run this town, tonight."
After i anagram and sent all the demos, I was too tired to start on my songs, so I just fell asleep on the couch.

*later on*

I was awakened by a poking in my rib cage and the smell of coffee and bacon.
"Dude, do you think she's awake yet?" A deep voice asked
I heard a smacking noise and another guy's voice said, "Dude! Does it look like she's awake?"
I opened my eyes and two guys were standing two inches away from my face. one of them looked at the other and said, "Yes" with a quick nod.
I looked over to see Cher listening to the demos I made on her headphones. She saw that I was awake and told me to eat while she talked on the phone.
I did what I was told and ate the bacon.
"So who am I writing for now?" I asked as Cher set her phone on the table.
"This new band called 5 Seconds Of Summer."she replied
"Sounds like another boyband."
"Yes, but they aren't like typical boybands. they can play instruments and know just about as much as you do about music."
"Okay, so what kind of songs am I writing?" I heard the door open and close. I looked behind me and saw the two guys were gone. I completely forgot they were here. I looked back at Cher who said,"I don't know, but their manager Paul is bringing them down to the studio tomorrow so all of you can collaborate. Sound good?"
"Sure. Sounds fine with me." I shrugged
"Go home, you need to rest for a while since you are working so hard.
I didn't say anything, I just nodded and left. I walked home since I didn't have my car and Taylor drove me yesterday. I let the cool air hit my face and was instantly relaxing.

*at home*

I took my wig and makeup off and hooped in the shower, when I got out, I put on sweatpants and a "We Run Better Than The Government" T-shirt I got from a cross country meet back in Freshman year. I sat on the couch and flipped through channels until I found The Hunger Games. I watched up until the part where Katniss goes back into the Cornucopia, I fell asleep right after she snagged the bag for Peeta. I drifted into unconsciousness, letting darkness envelope me.
