'Beep... Beep... Beep...'
The seeker's eyes slowly onlined.
'Where... What is this place..?"
Bright lights were showered into the seeker's eyes. He felt chained cyber cuffs holding his arms and legs back from freedom. He squirmed tiredly. His mouth hung open slightly as he consulted himself to what was happening.
"Welcome back online."
"Someone call the Optimus Prime. He'd want to see this."
"His brain waves are... Quit unusual..."
'Doctors? Oh, primus.'
The seeker groaned as his head was tilted upwards. His vision cleared, and what he saw were doctors and equipment. In the corner of his eye, a ground bridge opened. Out stepped a tall blue and red-figure. A mech that looked of great power. The mech kneeled next to the chained seeker.
"Optimus Prime, The patient. The patient, Optimus Prime." A female doctor introduced them both.
"I know." Optimus prime told her. Optimus looked into the seekers' eyes and put on a soft smile. "Hello again..."
"Starscream."
"You... You are-"
Starscream jerked up as his voice box glitched. Optimus Prime was taken aback and looked to the doctor.
"Apologize Optimus Prime. Ever since his body came back into function. He... He hasn't- He isn't the same." The doctor explained. "He can't speak, and he'll have trouble moving after his long trance in his catatonic state. Sadly, he has lost his memory after he woke up the first time from stasis." The doctor looked to Starscream. "I'm sorry, you won't remember anything from you're past, but we're doing the best we can to get your memories back."
Optimus looked sadly at the doctor. "I see..." Optimus was deeply hurt. Knowing he was responsible for Starscream's new disabilities.
"Optimus Prime, may I speak to you privately for a moment?" The doctor asked.
"Yes," Optimus responded and walked off into the back of the medic room with the doctor.
"Not to be rude, Optimus Prime, but for the love of Primus, please don't make him overwork himself." The doctor whispered. "Before he was put in stasis, we got records from the minicon Fixit, showing Starscream using the minicons power. That for multiple bots is already dangerous, but for one, he's lucky he's still alive." The doctor continued. "We've also got some word from Knockout, the old Decepticon medic, stated that Starscream wouldn't wait for himself to be fully healed after..."
"After what?" Optimus whispered back.
"Optimus Prime... Knockout claims that Megatron would physically beat Starscream to near death. Knockout claims that Starscream would never wait to be fully healed, overworking his own body, just to get beaten up again and the process starts over."
Optimus stared with a dark shock. No. Megatron wouldn't do that... right..?
"Did Starscream ever do anything wrong? To deserve those beatings?"
"Sadly, his data was drained during his overlong stasis. His processer is too damaged. It'll never be fixed with Cybertron's current medic supplies."
"I... I see..."
"Just remember to keep an eye on him. He might grow clingy and overprotective to those he finds worthy. So try you're best to gain his trust. oh and I highly suggest you take him to earth. It might be safer for him there than being on Cybertron. People still think he's dead after the fake execution. And there's a chance he might gain his memory back as well." The doctor listed. "Also, his T-cog is gone. Completely. Seekers gave a strange T-cog system, and we have no replacements. He won't fly until we figure out what T-cog he needs.
Optimus nodded. The doctor bowed, grabbed a datapad, and started to leave.
"Wait!" Optimus yelled to her, his hand extended in her direction. The doctor turned around. "What is your name?"
The doctor smiled.
"You can call me... Ariel."
