I wasn't used to hunting animals because we had no reason to but now we do. I found a deer and pointed to it with my tail for Chase to go on the other side of it. When he got over to the other side Chase barked and it came running toward me. As it did so Chase was behind it and it came closer and closer. I jumped on it and bit down on its neck. I heard a roar and turned around to see a mountain lion behind Chase I forgot about the deer and ran to Chases side.
The mountain lion pounced and I growled so loud I got a head ache. But I kept on biting it. Then the mountain lion went for Chase and I didn't know how to fight a mountain lion. So I howled for back up. It took forever for the others to get their. We were both beaten and tired. But Chase managed to kill the deer before it ran away.
The others went to the mountain lion and Jacob was fighting like he's done it forever until it went for Jacob and it got his neck I stared in horror. And Cookie screeched. Blood was poring out of the wound. I ran to his side and I seen his eyes were getting glossy until he took his last breath. Cookie felt it and turned around and howled with sorrow.
