You skidded down the hallway, heart beating out of her chest as she willed her body to push farther than it had before. She turned every hallway, looking around every corner, jumping out of every window! Nothing could stop her.
As she reached the courtyard of the school, she found just the tree she was looking to hide behind. She couldn't be found here, not when she had left those her chased her in the dust.
At least that was the thought. With a simple poke at her shoulder You jumped into the air in shock. With a quick scream of terror to leave her mouth, You quickly regained her composure.
When she looked over her shoulder though it was Riko, smiling at her with ease.
"Tag, you're it."
You sighed out in exhaustion. She might as well have walked if she was going to get caught that quick. This was the 3rd time she was caught first by Riko, not even any of the other members had this good of a streak going.
Leaning her back against the bark, You smiled back,
"How can you find me every time, Riko?"
Riko tapped her chin,
"Maybe I can read your mind. Ooo, spooky."
In reality though Riko just knew You favored the tree of their first kiss, but she wouldn't say anything.
You always found her in the spot of their first confession anyways, tangled in the curtains of the piano room.
They were quite the open book, but perhaps they just liked being that way for one another.
